kabira
Who will be 4 semifinalist in Ranji Elite League? It seems competition is going to be tough. Mumbai somehow is relying on the batting might preparing Patta. UP is steady, Gujarat is surprise so far. So Baroda has been most impressive. My 4 semifinalist will be UP Baroda Mumbai TamilNadu Link to comment
Raghav_12
Srivastava going good guns for UP' date=' but RPS goes wicket less, seems to have faded after that 5-fer in the first match[/quote'] Would have expected better from UP attack against Orissa. Undkat gets a 6-for for Saurashtra against Bhajji's Punjab. Somehow whenever Saurashtrian player does well, it is more of a cause of concern. First Jadeja's triple and now Unadkat's 6-fer. Mandeep Singh played well to remain not out at 89 while whole team folded for 250 something. Link to comment
skindia
Karnataka( best team in domestic) Mumbai Baroda Tamilnadu Link to comment
Mariyam
Mumbai ( best team in the country, champions of CL, best team in the world) and 3 other teams who don't matter at all in the wider scheme of things. Ranji is a competition Mumbai has won even with a second string time. The other teams are there just to make up the numbers and fight for second place. Every now and then, to sustain the interest of the general public in the sport, Mumbai gifts a few titles to the other sides. Otherwise, we'd have 4 decades of total Mumbai domination, and the other state/regional associations would just shut shop and stop sponsoring local teams. :hatsoff: Link to comment
master22
Karnataka & Tamil Nadu seems sure shot semifinalists and any two out of UP,Mumbai,Baroda,Gujarat Link to comment
The Dark Horse
TN should win this, they have been too good till the semis and then choked in the semis 1 time too many  Link to comment

cowboysfan
i hope karnataka goes for the win and not settle for a draw like they usually do. Link to comment
BeautifulGame
Knock outs in Ranji trophy are more about luck than ability.More often than not teams only complete single innings and team winning the toss has a huge advantage as there is no time for come back. With the form of TN batsmen (apart from Mukund ) and our ability to choke TN would do we lucky to be in the semis. My predictions would be Karnataka (strongest team in the circuit) Mumbai Uttar Pradesh Baroda Outside bet : Saurashtra (Particularly if Pujara isnt selected for Aus series) Link to comment
bulbul
i hope karnataka goes for the win and not settle for a draw like they usually do. Taking 12 wickets in a day in that Road is Difficult..i am fine if we Go for a Draw... Also we are not the Team which Settle for draw as u mentioned in u r post..we have one of the highest winning percentage in last 3 years ( there are some close misses) we are doing fine...
