Seems like Rishi Kapoor is all set to play an action oriented negative role Very surprising for him- will be interesting to see how he fares although knowing his talent he will be able to act it well too

I am sure Krishnan Iyer MA character is there in the movie.. but they don't want to revel the character here in the trailer .. may be the want to keep it as a surprise package..
I hope not, Other than mithun I dont see any current actor being able to play this role

Hrithik can never pull Vijay Dinanath Chauhan....apna maut ke sath appaiontmant hai
atleast they didnt play abhishek even though he asked for it.. would have been a disaster. Only if they had 3g back in the day Amitji wouldnt had to suffer this idiot :giggle: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EqtB-IaeEo8]‪Idea 3G Funny Ad Campaign - India Over Population - Abhishek Bachchan Sir Ji Ad Series - YouTube[/ame]

Read teh whole thread.Learned something new about the first Agneepath.I haven't seen the first one so this will the the first one for me. Sanjal looks like a maniac, Rishi looks bad ass.Hritik looks good but i have serious doubts about him pulling off such a role which requires a lot of intensity .

this, and Hrithik tends to over-engage his facial muscles in intense scenes.

this' date=' and Hrithik tends to over-engage his facial muscles in intense scenes.[/quote'] Yeah and TBH his dialogue delivery isn't all that great either. Seems kinda put-on and unnatural.Just lacking a soul.Looks-wise he is perfect for the role. Acting-wise I am not too sure. Then again , he acted brilliantly in Guzaarish and was pretty decent in Jodha akbar .

He is better suited in roles more to do with style (Dhoom 2). No one can out do AB in the role of Vijay Dinanath Chauhan. If they had to remake the film, they should have taken a real actor.

This will suck monkey balls.
Janab, sirf farman sunaoge ya koi explanation bhi doge? You talk as if the original was a masterpiece, and you're being extremely cynical here. For one, these remakes *don't necessarily* have to stand up to the original movies. People said the same thing about Don. SRK won't be able to carry it off. SRK is no Bachchan alana falana. But SRK essayed that role quite well. He bought other aspects to the character which were his strong suit. Hrithik would absolutely do a good job at being a Vijay Chauhan. The other Hritik movie, with vendetta as the central theme was Mission Kashmir. Though the movie was so so, Hritik played the part of someone who had grievances against a system/country very well. He had apt body language + facial expressions for the role. Don't think he'll let us down. Not so sure about Sanjay Dutt playing Kancha Seth though.

http://www.koimoi.com/reviews/agneepath-review/ Agneepath is superhit. Business rating: 4 / 5 stars (Four stars) Star cast: Hrithik Roshan, Sanjay Dutt, Priyanka Chopra, Rishi Kapoor. What’s Good: The arresting screenplay; the performances of the cast; the Chikni Chameli song; the raw action; the canvas, the making and the shot takings; the direction. What’s Bad: The excessive violence, blood and gore; the film is very heavy and a bit too lengthy. Verdict: Agneepath is a surefire hit, no questions asked! It will shake the box-office today (Republic Day) and in the first weekend. Loo break: Not really! Watch or Not?: Watch it for so many reasons but be prepared for gore and violence… plenty of it! Hrithik Roshan does an absolutely mind-blowing job. He plays Vijay so wonderfully that this could go down in Bollywood history as one of his best performances to-date. Note, for instance, how he uses his eyes and body language to convey the emotions, whether of anger, hurt, love or joy. He is terrific indeed and his performance is award-winning! His physique is to die for. Priyanka Chopra shines in a comparatively short role. She makes the character of Kaali very endearing. Her dances are extremely graceful and she shines in emotional scenes. Sanjay Dutt looks supremely menacing as Kancha. His get-up is well thought of and his acting only adds to his terror and his eccentric character. Sanjay Dutt’s performance will be loved by the masses and the single-screen audience. On the whole, Agneepath is a surefire hit. It has taken a bumper initial and its four-day weekend would be stupendous. Given that it has already recovered more than half its investment of around Rs. 75 crore from sale of satellite and audio rights and another around 15% from sale of Overseas and home video rights, recovery of the balance 35% (from the point of view of the producers) should be a cakewalk. In fact, the share of the first weekend alone – yes, first weekend alone – should be more than enough – yes, more than enough – to cover the balance part of the investment. The share accruing in the remaining four days of the 8-day week and in the weeks to follow will all go towards the profits. Anil Thadani, who has acquired the distribution rights of part of the territories of India and is distributing the film in the balance Indian circuits alongwith the producers, will also make handsome profits.
