Alchemist Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 cant blame luck if u play VK.Dhoni got lucky it went to last over It has to be some luck. We had Sreesanth in both WC finals. May be he is the Luck.
Trichromatic Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Bhajji is still a good run stopper and can score runs also....Yuvi would have given us another spin option......Zaheer is Zaheer.....he would have bowled the last over.... Sehwag and Gambhir..........well i dont need to say more........once the injured players are back.............4of them should be back quickly........we will be a better team....... Last time we heard of similar description for players in "we shouldn't lose a test this summer" thread. This was our best XI and everything else is just an excuse.
Malcolm Merlyn Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Last time we heard of similar description for players in "we shouldn't lose a test this summer" thread. This was our best XI and everything else is just an excuse. It wasnt........... We had 5 players missing.........1 or 2 can be replaced..........but 5?:((
Andy Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Dhoni's luck will be back when India stops bringing crappiest players from domestic cricket to international cricket and have a proper team. This. I am still with Dhoni as far as the leader is concerned, Blame the selectors, Blame BCCI.
yoda Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 This. I am still with Dhoni as far as the leader is concerned' date=' Blame the selectors, Blame BCCI.[/quote'] Isn't the captain part of the selection process? You think he was given Jaddu without his own liking? For all we know he could be the one insisting on VK as well.

For all we know he could be the one insisting on VK as well. Well May be, But not completely sure on that. The chances of Selectors preferring the Likes of VK and RJ are more than MSD selecting both. Even if it was his decision, what for the selectors are? These players have not produced results in the past, and yet they are selecting these jokers ? Really poor, these selectors need to be replaced ASAP.
zoi321 Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Waqar didnt say it it was Younis Khan according to the green site.
WC2011INDIA Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Dhoni is no longer a cool and calm captain.... Did you see his face in the last 5 overs? The guy was nervous as hell. In the last over when VK bowled the first ball, he got so pissed and shouted dunno who....at umpire or VK. It was umpire's fault though. Seriously, his confidence level is at an all time low. If we are whitewashed in ODIs as well, Dhoni and team India will be mentally devastated for the next 4-5 years. :((
Trichromatic Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 It will take only 1 win to get the confidence back. :winky:
Desi Cartman Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 He'll be back I like that his body language and his mood is same all the time. In sure he'll achieve a lot more
Jersey #10 Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 He already got the doctors degree...why would he need any luck now?
Number Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 More than luck its Zak in the bowling department which we are missing the most. yes.. 5 seniors are not there and more than that they are replaced by likes of Vinay Kumar.
ZodiaC Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Tontee tontee, who gives a crap, as you yourselves said. It's the 4-0 that still hurts.
gaurav92 Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 I can be the captain too if Dhoni can :phehehe: Field placements like Munaf at Deep Mid Wicket, bowling choices like Vinay Kumar in the final over (In fact Vinay Kumar in the side at first place), and not to forget the dazzling 8 off 8 and that shot off one hand straight into the juggling hands of long off - debutante was a treat from Dhoni. Some goof ups behind the stumps, especially in the final over was  All in all, Dhoni should be dropped from the side, the guy needs a break, he has been playing too much Kirkut, let him have some rest before he takes on the mantle for the all important CL :icflove:
Desi Cartman Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 He was just testing if Vinay can come good in tense times. Vinay has FAILed so MSD will give him another 30 opportunities just like he gave Jaddu aka Jaadu

Aaron is a newbie and inexperience. He did right to not play Aaron in this T20. and now tell who he would have taken. And what goofup in final over you are talking about. that was a thick out side edge, no keeper could have stopped it.
rabinjackman Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 we need a comprehensive analysis by Bejan Daruwala , Maa prem Ritambara and their ilk to find out just what happened to his luck. This is very important and needs to be addressed by the BCCI asap.
Sidhoni Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 People being too harsh on Dhoni. He's still the best captain we've ever had. And in addition to the batting he also brings cool rational decision making to the table. Who else can offer that. He may be out of form with the bat, but he's still a thinking captain. I'll reserve my criticism of Dhoni after his and the team's performance in the next series. Lets see how he can bounce back. He's had many successful tours and a great WC. All that cannot get canceled by just one bad series. +1
