Number Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Funny stuff here; So Dhoni (31) is a horrible batsman' date= even though he has the 4th highest average on this tour, a few runs behind Tendulkar(34) no less- so that means that Laxman (22), Gambhir(17), Mukund (16), Raina (13), and Sehwag (10!) are what, awesome? crappier? need to be fliushed down the toilet? It sure looks like you all are heaping blame on Dhoni, the same way some of you are saying that he was getting too much praise. So if Dhoni, as a batsman/wicketkeeper needs to be dropped for his "poor batting," what about the rest of the wonderful SPECIALIST Batsman? Enquring minds want to know. I'd love to have seen you all talk about Dhoni's replacement- Parthiv, Karthik etc. if they had played instead; I am sure they would have lit it up!!! :cantstop: :two_thumbs_up:

Remember the earlier wks (mongia and his ilk) and openers (ss das,akash chopra)?

Bhaai kaptaani ka bojh kitna hota ye pata bhi hai. koi bhi bhartiye kaptaan aisa nahi hai jiski form niche na gayi ho kaptaani ke time pe. Dhoni to WK bhi hai. Aise sawaal uthte hain, Dhoni koi pehla nahi hai, Tendlya par bhi uthe, RD par bhi uthe, VVS par bhi uthe, Viru par bhi uthe, but you know ek kahavat hai "kutte bhonkte rehte hain magar haathi apni mast chaal me chalte chlae jaate hain, unhe koi fark nahi padta."

Ony series he must have missed in recent times is WI. Reminds me of Dravid in away when he was WK (2002-2005). He played everything. I think he has a record too for most number of matches without rest or something.

He's needs to deal with it and sort himself out, his lucks ran out and he's been found out. ****ing needs a rest... my ass.

If he had scored half century in this match then he would have equaled SRT for most consecutive half centuries by an India.
