vvvslaxman Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 I am glad India does not have a test series in SA at this point. It will be a massacre in India's current form.
Cricket Tragic Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Incredible start. Fastest to 50 wickets is in 6 or 7 tests, right?
rkt.india Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 I am glad India does not have a test series in SA at this point. It will be a massacre in India's current form. Philander will eat Indian batsmen and end up with an average of less than 10 if it happens now.
zaqw222222 Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Incredible start. Fastest to 50 wickets is in 6 or 7 tests, right? Yup,he can become the fastest to 50 wickets post WWII http://stats.espncricinfo.com/india/content/records/283528.html
King Tendulkar Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 This guy is something.. another fifer Now his career stat reads 6 tests 45 wickets 13.60 avge Talented Ishant my ass Could Lohmann be finally challenged!
Hell Raiser Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Wow. This man is on a roll. 6 matches and 45 wickets. Amazing.

jairamesh Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Just watched highlights, he keeps it so simple, nothing express but decent 135k to 138k on average, impeccable line and length. Why is it so hard for at least one Indian bowler to follow this routine?
daryl1985 Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Love watching him bowl. He is superb, excellent accuracy, nibbles it both ways and can swing it later in the innings. The England-South Africa series is going to be amazing in summer.
Stuge Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 wow what a bowler he is turning out to be :hatsoff:
King Tendulkar Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 How will he do in subcontinent though. Just like our batters are judged on overseas tours. Their bowlers need to be judged on subcontinent tours. He could be a bowling version of Raina.
vvvslaxman Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 Still averaging 14.04. approaching 50th wicket in his 7th test. Too bad it is a truncated test.
Old guy Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 he is so consistent :(( south africa plz give us just one bowler plz :((

There were other and better known bowlers alongside who bowled on the same pitches. For now, he looks good.

Crookbond Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 Fastest to get to 50 wickets !! Second fastest.
Crookbond Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 who is fastest? :hmmm: http://www.indiancricketfans.com/showpost.php?p=1883481&postcount=4
