Umesh actually I was impressed with today as he got good swing, can easily bowl 140 to 150 k, and just needs to mature a bit in ODI'S, WILL BE A THREAT TO ANY TEAM IN TESTS, his seam is upright, he needs to mix his deliveries and bowl at his natural length, he tried to bowl to full and swing it today, with his pace a bit short of good length and a occasional fuller ball mixed with a short one to the body or moving away would be ideal combo.

What's the point when speed is of no use? What next we will compare Yadav with likes of Sami on who's faster? I would rather have a slightly slower Umesh as long as he can bowl with control like Zak used to do over the last 4-5 years.

Umesh will get better control very soon- but if he looses his pace he won't get it back.....control comes with experience, Have patience guys.

I strongly believe in Quality and for me Umesh is a better bet than atleast balaji......dinda has pace n control both so I may think dinda is the right choice but balaji shud not have been selected- umesh is better

People talk about Spin but teams like Aus,SA and WI have that xfactor when it comes to pace bowling which makes them that extra bit favs IMHO In a superover kind of a situation or even in Slog overs defending a total which is always a possibility in T20 guys like Ajmal,Ashwin,Narine,Vettori etc will be useless

true but we dont have any guy with skills needed to do that aaron could have been perfect for htis role yadav right now needs to concentrate on tests if he can gain some control then play odis cos imo hammering can destroy confidence of bowler specially if skipper does not backs u on field
