Trichromatic Posted October 28, 2011 Author Posted October 28, 2011 Shastri is trying to go after some English Jingoistic analysts..LOL India atleast played well in ODIs and all the games were close. They should have won 2-1...but England goes thrashed 5-0. They don't even have an excuse of under prepration, they came 2 weeks in advance. LOL I think their batting will not score big runs in India, but their bowling wil be challenging. We have to play really well to get to 4-0. We are always slow starters. Not at home.
kabira Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 ^even at home. Twice have lost two tests matches against SA, came back to draw the series. Even 1st Test against Aussies was close, got out of jail there.
vamos_rafa Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 I said never loses like that. Best teams do lose matches' date=' no big deal. But what's the point of saying that India would have pounded them if tests were played in India now? Just doesn't make sense.[/quote'] Where have I mentioned that India would have beaten the Poms 4-0? I just pointed out that losing Zak was a very big blow for us and cited the Aussies losing McGrath just to reinstate my point. And as per the #1 team not giving up like that, haven't you ever seen Roger Federer surrender meekly? It can happen to anyone.
Yoda-esque Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Lol--Looks like this guy compiled all the Match thread headings on this forum and came up with this.Good article though. http://blogs.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/ronojay-sens-blog/entry/what-the-5-0-whitewash-means
The Outsider Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Edited the thread title to reflect what the delusional fool actually said.
ganeshran Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 How is this different from Bumble's 5-0 comments. Commies make stupid predictions all the time :dontknow:
rkt.india Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Edited the thread title to reflect what the delusional fool actually said. This interview was on Aajtak and Ravi Shashtri was talking in a tone of Sanjay Dutt of Vastav, tapori style in hindi. That was a hilarious interview.:haha:
BeautifulGame Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 I thought Ravi wanted to wind up English fans with this prediction like Bumble tried with Indian fans. But some of our fans seem wind up more with this predictions for some weird reason
retterimp Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 i'm surprised a respected commie like shastri is talking in terms of would've/should've. i thought only us forummers pass on such lame comments. i don't think he needed to stoop to the level of the engish commies, but by doing exactly that he has shown why he will always be a mediocre commie/analyst.
retterimp Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 How is this different from Bumble's 5-0 comments. Commies make stupid predictions all the time :dontknow: he's not even predicting here. there was no test series so his 'prediction' is irrelevant. i thought his statement was very low class.
ganeshran Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 he's not even predicting here. there was no test series so his 'prediction' is irrelevant. i thought his statement was very low class. Low class? lolwut. :fool:
Yoda-esque Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Hes just winding them up...Don't take it so seriously!
Number Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 :haha: He is giving it back to Nassir and Botham... nice time to troll as he knows test series is not there in this tour.
Manny_Pacquiao Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Edited the thread title to reflect what the delusional fool actually said. haha, it does sound ridiculous, doesnt it. i think its just a response to guys like vaughan, hussain, and al these english wind-up merchants. the field of cricket commentary has deteriorated to the extent that commentators have begun behaving like forum posters. :haha:
