Laaloo Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Finishing season 1 of blacklist It's pretty good. Not great When you watch 24 and see Jack Bauer kick ass, blacklist pales in comparison.
zaqw222222 Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Not really a big fan of anime' date='has anybody seen Death Note?[/quote'] Yes its quite good especially the first 25 episodes are very good

BeautifulGame Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Finishing season 1 of blacklist It's pretty good. Not great When you watch 24 and see Jack Bauer kick ass, blacklist pales in comparison. Is blacklist worth watching? I have watched the first 4 episodes and it kinda feels repetitive to an extent .

Crookbond Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 I finished watching "The Wire" and my word ... it is one of the most under rated TV series of all time. I highly recommend it and it looks pretty close to real life. A co-creator of the show is a former Baltimore detective and the plot of show mimics real life - imperfection. I think in modern times - it would have a cult following much more than something like "Breaking Bad". The central character of "The Wire" is .... Baltimore, a city- it is actually true. The Wire: arguably the greatest television programme ever made The Wire is a TV programme like no other. Its central character isn't a cop or a criminal but a city: the faded industrial port of Baltimore, Maryland. Over the course of 60 episodes and multiple storylines, The Wire portrays Baltimore – and by extension urban America as a whole – through the eyes of dozens of characters. Each series focuses on a different facet of the city, including the drug-ravaged housing projects, down-at-heel docks, crumbling public schools and corrupt political administration. Regardless of whether its characters are running drugs or running for office, The Wire refuses to make black-and-white judgements about them. Its prevailing moral universe is grey. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/5095500/The-Wire-arguably-the-greatest-television-programme-ever-made.html The Wire also is used to teach sociology ,acting etc. to students at universities at places like Havard College, Brown and John Hopkins. http://www.andover.edu/About/Newsroom/Pages/GettingdowntoTheWire.aspx http://m.worldcrunch.com/node/culture-society/american-tv-show-the-wire-breaks-into-french-academia-/c3s4476/#.UOWRpLamBdV http://articles.baltimoresun.com/2010-11-25/news/bs-md-wire-class-hopkins-20101125_1_baltimore-drama-hopkins-students-baltimore-schools
SLICKR392 Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Finished Season 1 of Wire. Loved it! For some reason, I'm not able to enjoy House of Cards. Watched it for Spacey, but just can't feel that beat. Switching between Seinfeld and Wire, its pretty weird but you don't enjoy Seinfeld or any sitcom after you watch something as natural as Wire.
Malcolm Merlyn Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Got hooked on to Arrow/ Haven.. juggling between these 2 and blacklist. Arrow season 3 has started. So far better than 1 or 2. Arrow 2 is better than season 1
