There are some players that you see, even for the first time and you just know they have that extra something, that special spark which tells you that they will be around for a long time and do great things. Rahul is one of them for me. Very exited about his future.

so true guy can spin the ball too! and what control and of ur leggie with control and have such good height u will be successful cos half of the teams dont even know how to play spin and leg spinner always create chances he is a must in future odi teams in next year or 2 then in tests yadav is another one if he stays fit he will be something

Let him do it more than one match before we make him out to be next great thing.If he is any good if he will get his chances.
in odis he is good u can just tell his control is impressive and he was super impressive in ipl where batsmen were trying to go after him! and he already looks better than chawla who bowls atleast 1 ball per over

Rahul Sharma has some way to go before being a regular routine pick for Indian team.

Too early to judge and compare him to the like of Afridi. The guy is cool and shows no nerves as a debutant. Height definitely an advantage. we will have to wait and see how international batsmen read him after he is exposed more to them...Any way a good prospect and is likely to be in the team for the Tri-Series.

Very less spin and relies more on bounce.
there was no spin even for Ashwin and Jadeja. Pitch was flat. On a more helpful track, he can be handy with his bounce and accuracy.
