Old guy Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Dinda again :wall: Looks distinctly average' date=' not sure what he will bring to the table apart from 3-5Ks of extra pace.[/quote'] yadav was average before people improve and this season he is bowling so well must be doing something right and 5 ks arent just i think he can easily cross 140 while others mithun and co struggle to hit 135 little swing at 140 can get u wicket while at 128 batsman can play it much easier
Needforspeed Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 As the genuinely quick Abu Nechim does not seem to be in the selctors scheme of things, Dinda is the next best option. Even Aaron was a rookie before the WIndies series. But I dont have much hope from the selectors...they may end up selecting a trudler like Irfan Pathan.
Old guy Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 if irfan is selected i will support australia :protest:
Lord Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 ^ so u'll stop supporting India just coz u dont like the selection did u watch cricket in the 90s
kubrickian Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Whichever pacer they select, Irfan or Dinda will not be good enough to trouble Aussies. They might as well select someone like Rahul Sharma and play him as a surprise. Who knows, with his height he may get bounce on those wickets and he is deadly accurate too. I think he is a better bet than having a military medium line and length bowler.
cowboysfan Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 He will not play in the 1st test if he cant play in the tour match,i feel like I am watching a bad remake of groundhog day.
vishalvirsingh Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Since abu nachim is being ignored by selectors DINDA is the best option and I wud prefer he plays ahead of VK and Mithun as both were not impressive in the only match..... Zak Umesh Dinda is next best to Zak umesh Ishant Zak umesh and VK or mithun means the third bowler is way weaker....and batsman will look at scoring oppurtunities against VK or mithun
Manny_Pacquiao Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 replacement being decided on before the 1st test. that's good news. i just can't imagine irfan not being picked. he has proven his form, proven his fitness and has international experience. i would take irfan over mithun or vijay kumar any day. is dinda the guy who has that massive jump? he looks like he could break his back on every ball.

vishalvirsingh Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 R u saying that thesE cortizone injections have the capability to make the Pain DEAD and ishu can Play that's a good NEWS.....if he cAn play as he is atleast 300 times better than the third Pace bowler......I mean he has chances to create wicket taking oppurtunities .... I wud goto the extent that Ishu cud bcom the best bowler in Australia outshining Zak and Yadav bcos of his capability to create the best BOUNCE.....or ball best bouncers.... On green hard Tracks of Australia I feel Bowler who can bowl the best BOUNCER can fetch wickets. I feel there will be pacy Bouncers in australia and our best bet for bouncers is Ishant.......correct me if I am wrong

Coming to a theater near you: "Bloody Sock Part II".
vishalvirsingh Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Manoj tiwari is mentioning about a fast bowler called Mohd Sami along with Dinda as stars for bengal and KKR he said Sami cAn come up well and bowls fast ( he is in KKR team)..... Any idea about Sami
deathmonger Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Manoj tiwari is mentioning about a fast bowler called Mohd Sami along with Dinda as stars for bengal and KKR he said Sami cAn come up well and bowls fast ( he is in KKR team)..... Any idea about Sami fast bowling fans have thousands of threads on him. and it's shami.
Needforspeed Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 His name is Shami Ahmed. He bowls at around 140. He played one game for KKR in CLT20. His name was wrongly written as Mohammed Sami in the BCCI website (now corrected). In 2010 he played only one FC game for Bengal taking 3 wickets. This year he has 4 games taking 10 wickets. Wasim Akram thinks he has good potential. Good raw talent -has the pace and is only 21.
carnish Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 I hope some sense prevails and they get Dinda into the team now that ISHU is out... :crying: will miss ishu...i would want him to play even with the injury as he is better than most of the others..
deathmonger Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 is it confirmed ishu is out? or are u guys just speculating?
BERGKAMP Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Canberra, Dec 17: A major blow for India as injury woes continue to torment the team. Ishant's replacement will be chosen in the next 24 hours. Though the team management tried to down play the injury scare, Ishant Sharma is unlikely to play in the three day match against Cricket Australia's Chairman XI starting on Monday. Moreover, even if he's declared fit for the first test against Australia starting on Dec 26, the team management might have to name a replacement for the rest of the tour as chances of him getting injured seems to be more prominent. Else, gambling with the option of retaining the Delhi bowler will increase the woes of the team management as they would be repeating the mistake of the England tour, where Zaheer Khan hardly bowled in the tour opener and later was ruled out of the rest of the series due to a hamstring injury. While for now, everyone are keeping their fingers crossed as injuries have taken its toll on the players and their selection for the upcoming series against Australia, Dhoni and the management just hope injury wouldn't be an issue with Zaheer during this series as he has never completed a full tour of Australia. fekk you bcci for not monitoring injuries properly, and fekk you ishant for hiding this injury :finger::finger::finger:
deathmonger Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 has it been said ishu is out of tour or just the practice match. since the tour is long he may miss out some matches but play the later tests. eg praveen missed oval test but was back in the t20 and odis.
Magneto Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 If Ishant is out, they'll surely send Irfan.
