Pissing on dead bodies actually ranks far low on the list of normal war crimes. For some reason there is this wide spread belief that American soldiers are supposed to be angels. Anyone who is surprised is very naive.

I would set their bodies on fire just to set an example like they do to anyone not following their version of Islamic laws. They have hung random people in the middle of the city they concluded to be spies, they have stoned and beheaded girls who dare to go to school... Getting pissed on is a very small indignity heaped on them.Maybe their piss soaked souls will be denied entry into the hallowed heaven they so crave for.

Hector, kills Achilles cousin, mistaking him for Achilles. Later when he finds out, he is terribly saddened, and personally hands over the body and over looks a state cremation for the dead lad. Achilles on hearing that his cousin is murdered, rushes to fight prince Hector. He defeats and kills Hector in the ensuing fight. But Achilles, full of grief, drags Hector's dead body around the battlefield. The USA must decide, does it want to be remembered as an Achilles or a Hector? Be careful when you fight the monsters, lest you become one

The resorted to violence since nothing worked for them. Will you call Bhagat Singh as a terrorist? Perhaps they should have handled this on more peaceful terms. Their reputation got worse after Rajiv Gandhi's killing.

Wouldnt be surprised if pissing on corpses is the tip of the iceberg. The 'cost' of war in terms of the mental health of the soldiers is rarely reported and undervalued imo. I'm guessing these effects will generally be true for every country, just that there's better data on the US (correct me if I'm wrong). In the fiscal year 2009 alone, 1,868 veterans of these wars have made suicide attempts, according to armytimes.com.
