Ashwin was a failure here. But it takes a lot more to achieve the mediocrity of Bhajji these days whose Ranji trophy record this season 3 matches 2 wickets average of 102 at a strike rate of 225.

Ashwin had given 2 breakthroughs to us in first session. It is not his fault that fast bowlers faltered and I doubt if Bhajji could have done any better. I still remember his 2 wickets in 2 tests in England and 2 wickets in 3 Ranji trophy matches.
