Number Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Surprised to see Harbhajan even brought into spinners discussion.Only delusional posters and a certain Gangu teli can advertise for his place in this side. This douchebag offspiner who has taken 400 test wickets misses Ranji games citing an injury ,but is magically fit enough to grace us with his "made it large" presence on a wrestling show and perform a wrestling move with a wrestler. He himself knows his days with Indian team are over and hopefully he sticks to hosting these wrestling shows and IPL. agree.

Needforspeed Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Sad' date='He has given up so easily,Look at irfan that guy has worked hard and made a comeback.[/quote'] +1 He cannot improve unless he himself accepts the need to. He seems to have taken a 'I dont give a damn..its your problem' kind of attitude.
Magneto Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 He has an off-season so he's just having fun. Singing, dancing, wrestling ... all those small small things he always wished to do. Let him enjoy his sabbatical.
daryl1985 Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Off spinners do not do well in Australia. It would be ridiculous to judge him on this tour (talking about Ashwin). Ajmal averaged over 100 on his last tour there and Murali also struggled. Comparatively, Graeme Swann has done fairly well compared to others and he averaged just under 40. Swann also had the advantage of being part of a very strong bowling line up.

Australian wickets first and foremost seamer friendly wickets. But our seamers disappointed us more than Ashwin especially Ishant.

FreakazoiD Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 "There are a few seniors in the team who have already told us about how the first innings pans out at the Adelaide Oval, and how good it is to bat on, on the first three days of the game, and then it really changes," Ashwin said. :haha::haha: So true, these "knowledgeable seniors" probably also knew Australia would be batting first
