Sooda Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 InshaAllah may he score lots and lots of tons and runs for India
adi B Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Reminds me of a young Ponting. absolutely spot on.... he is a great find, he and rohit along with rahane must be given constant opportunity
King Tendulkar Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 It just shows that if you stick by youth and give them a run, they then can develop and learn. Kohli was always going to make it good. Missed massive chance of blooding Rohit for last 2 games and giving him exposure, even if he had failed he would have learnt loads.
Texy Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 yes he has 'arrived' ...arrived all over our established batsmen' faces ...he has made love to that flat deck, caressed it, stroked it and rocked its bed like a confident pleasure giver
Shunya Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 lol...cant believe how even after this people are trying to pull him down ... KOHLI and all youngistan all the way...kick out the oldies starting from Sachin...
Singham Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 This is the fight we want to c from Indian player. Unfortunatley there is no fight left in dravid or laxman. They should be ashamed of themselves that they are taking an youngster's place in the team.
rkt.india Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Two decades ago, an Indian team had toured Australia and endured slightly similar results to that which the current one is going through. India lost the series 4-0, but the final Test of that series has stayed in the memory of many. India lost that one too, but in the first innings a supremely talented young batsman hit 114 out of a team total of 272 - an innings that has since passed into legend. It wasn't Sachin Tendulkar's first Test century (it was his third), but the parallels are hard to miss. Virat Kohli has scored 116 out of the same total of 272 in the first innings of the final Test of what is still expected to be another 4-0 loss.
BERGKAMP Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 he is what he is. no point changing the guys character at this stage. indians will love him. the rest of the world will hate him (similar to ganguly). that's fine with me. eff the world :icflove:
debachat Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 And he atleast fights better than the maharathis...dont care much about centuries but atleast he performed with the bat, something that cannot be said about our top batsmen! Captain or No captain - but atleast he WANTS to fight!
achilles Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Reminds me of a young Ponting. Absolutely agree. absolutely spot on.... he is a great find, he and rohit along with rahane must be given constant opportunity I told ya guys all along. :two_thumbs_up:
The Outsider Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Arre Arseniczzzz, he had already arrived in the last test. Your gaadi is late : http://www.indiancricketfans.com/showthread.php?t=277100
Shunya Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 can we give some little tiny bit of credit to MSD as well...the same old persisting with a youngster and giving him a longer run, even when everything around is falling apart...the thing which all of us criticize when it doesnt work... I m glad that we persisted with him after first test here and not dropped him for Rohit sharma...even though Rohit sharma should have been playing instead of some oldie ...which is obvious now...

Kean0 Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 The kid does not have the mental capacity to be a leader. Sure he has talent but his attitude stinks. Pray that he does not ever become the captain.
