Vilander
SA lack the killer instinct and a clean sweep is out of question given the wet summer we are having here. you don't need killer instinct for everything my friend Link to comment

Needforspeed
I see a close series with 1-0 for either side coming up. The first half of English summer is always wet and unfortunately we are likely to see a lot of rain marred days, but thats cricket in England. Link to comment
Needforspeed
Amen to that Serani. Hope your internet connection remains intact for next 2 months :hysterical: That happens only when the matches are played in Asia. Link to comment

vvvslaxman
He wanted to say England will not beat SA but SA A will beat SA. Somewhere along the line he messed it up :cantstop: Link to comment
Hell Raiser
Dale Steyn is going to destroy England's batting line up. but it will be a good contest, two brilliant bowling line ups going against each other. Would be a great sight to watch Steyn and Philander bowl in tandem in overcast conditions. Link to comment
Utalk
It will be a stern test for Eng batting. Likes of cook and bell hold the key as I can see Strauss and KP struggling. Prior will be another key member who scores at a good rate at 7. #6 seems to be a problem spot after struggles of likes of Morgan, Bopara and this Yorkshire kid. Link to comment
Utalk
3 tests for such a high profile series are not enough. They should have had four or five tests. Link to comment

Somewhere along the line he messed it up :cantstop: The title is actually very clever, draws readers in thinking "what? Serani not backing england?!?!? Lets investigate further" Link to comment

Robelinda
Steyn struggled badly in 2008 in england, we wait to see if he can adapt to the conditions. Philander seems a sure bet to be a real handful though. Link to comment
Sidhoni
3 tests for such a high profile series are not enough. They should have had four or five tests. :agree: The previous Aus-SA series had just 2 tests and it was clearly not enough. Link to comment
MechEng
Is Smith aiming for giving Poms an innings defeat or what?!?!? Although I respect Amla's and Kallis' feats, for me team comes first. SA should have declared with a lead of MAX 200, because they don't have high quality spinners like Ajmal so that they can have England at 60/3 by the end of the day even if they declared at tea. Now SA's winning hopes lies on tomorrow's pitch becoming a demon like the 5th day Kanpur pitch, and Steyn getting reverse swing at 90 mph. Otherwise Trott and Cook can stay on 0 for 50 balls and keep defending, they're ****ing patient. Link to comment

It's better to score those 50-100 runs now then to score those in 2nd inn. 23 overs left. Bat for 10 overs. Get a lead of 300-310 and declare. Give them 120 overs. This will ensure that SA won't have to bat again in this match. If team can't bowl them out in 120 overs then they won't be able to bowl them out in 130 over either. Link to comment
Guest
England will be bowled out for less than 150 still lot of time is there they can even try Amla 350 Link to comment
