asterix Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 I searched online but was unable to find any sorts of comments from the captain of the Indian team.. Is there a BCCI gag order on expressing views? :dontknow: I find it amusing and astonishing, the lack of any views (good or bad) from the very popular, role model, M$D.. He never commented when Tiger Pataudi passed away. Maybe he's not interested or might not know about Indian Test cricket greats... I expect the fanboys to quickly come in M$D's defence and calling me names..

saneindian Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Better to keep quiet than to say he should have retired after England series :P
Old guy Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 maybe he is not in country ? maybe media didn't asked him.. im sure he would ve personally talked with dravid... he does not needs to do a press conference now for it.. now does he ? if he will be asked he will comment im sure
DomainK Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 It's strange, but I wont read too much into it. There are disputes within the team, but we should not speculate on such weak evidence.
Crookbond Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 MS Dhoni is shopping. On a serious note, it doesn't matter if he hasn't given a word to te media. What matters is what he told Rahul Dravid, if we ever get to know it; that is.
Lord Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 hes waiting for Sehwag to comment first so he can say the opposite.Sehwag is doing the same
vvvslaxman Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Once press gets hold of him he will say something.
J P K Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Maybe he waiting for sachin and laxman to announce their retirement
Cricket Tragic Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Dhoni: Well of course it's sad but we will save 3.5 runs on the field. #fakequote
Raghav_12 Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Dhoni: Well of course it's sad but we will save 3.5 runs on the field. #fakequote :hysterical::hysterical: In between our Kaptaan Kool doesn't think much a) of test matches b)cricket played out side sub-continent. So logically Dravid would not be as big a legend in his eyes as for common cricket fan.
master22 Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 People should stop taking potshots at dhoni for each and everything :asleep: As far as dhoni talking about dravid's retirement, here it is http://www.deccanherald.com/content/233475/he-missed-dressing-roomamp8200dhoni.html
chainsmoker1985 Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 There was no point for Dhoni to come out in media specially to comment on Dravid's retirement. That would look like drama. And you don't associate the word 'drama' with MSD, not at all. He will definitely comment when he will next time attend media conference. BTW, I know what OP is pointing at.. That the chemistry between Dravid and MSD is not so cool. On top of that, there was no remark from MSD on his twitter page as well

It seems he gave an interview after landing in Dhaka..
