As for non-subcontinental venues, SL is 3-14 against India in Aus, NZ, SA and Eng. It's all well and good to say Loins are no pushovers but we have yet to see any evidence of it. Maybe the Loins will prove they are no "pushovers" by fielding a 2nd XI against bangbros and getting hammered :hysterical: That wasnt my point. It's this supremacy trash talk when there's nothing much to boast about for team India's performance despite the abundant resources at hand. In contrast the Lankans have done a better job despite their limited resources. Dont think the trash wont come back at you. The only thing Lankans have been better at is losing series (I think 12 on the trot) home & away and losing finals. As for India's "constant interference" it was coz your govt came to India begging for help, and without whom frankly you would have been run over by LTTE. But yeah just like SLCB who would be bankrupt without BCCI's assistance, you lot are a thankless bunch and prove an old saying "laaton ke bhoot baaton se nahin maante" or maybe the more apt would be "neki kar aur dariya mein daal"

Especially in bowling powerplay, Kula bowls some shyt balls out of nowhere, picked up even by cricinfo. Of ccourse it goes without saying the top 3 also deliberately underperformed. Time for them to get the IPL boot.

But you can't call them match fixers and accuse them of deliberately losing the match. They played their best XI which I wasn't expecting them to, and I won't believe for a second that any professional sportsperson would not give of his best just so that some other team can't make it to a final. i can believe someone throwing a game for money but not for the reason mentioned. It was India's fault for not making it to the finals by not beating B'desh. It's our fault and nobody else's.
