Don't think anyone hates them. Its just that time and again they've been selected but have failed. An odd-good game keeps them in the fray. Jadeja was really impressive yesterday though and Chawla did seem to have understood that he is premierly a leggie and not just a googly bowler. i don't think pitches need to "provide a fair contest to both teams". we don't need pitches to even the playing field for poor teams. what curator should try to achieve is a pitch for a fair contest between batsmen and bowlers (pace & spin).
