SLICKR392 Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 and some people were comparing him to great Imran Khan :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Really? :nervous:
Sean Bradley Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Joe Root - Looks like a decent bat..can anyone sense a century on debut?
SLICKR392 Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Solid, very young and a good future. Not easy for a 21yr old to bat in the SC for the first time with the team under pressure. :hatsoff:
jairamesh Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Wankhede pitch was perfect. It perfectly highlighted current India Test team's massive shortcomings.
asterix Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Decent batsmen but Dhobi XI is notorious in allowing rookie players doing well against their bowling and ridiculous defensive field placings...
Sean Bradley Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 The first 3 pitches were of home advantage...considering 2 points. 1) Indians are good players of spin. 2) Indians will spin their way to 20 english wickets. Also to be fair, we did well in ahmedabad...but english came up with better strategy in mumbai.. I would say monthy & swann were the difference between the 2 sides in Mumbai & Kolkata. Cook did well in mumbai but he was dropped twice in kolkata which cost indians the match dearly. The pitch at Nagpur is purely out of despeartion to win.
jairamesh Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Any batsmen in the world would love to make their debut against India's Chaiwalas and Jaddus. It was rather pathetic Cook and Co haven't notched 500 plus by now.
Texy Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Imagine how well he will play after hitting puberty :hatsoff:
Gunner Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 The Wankhade wicket was the best, rewarding good batting and good bowling.
Sean Bradley Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Good one OP :--D , but well played young man :icflove:
India-KXIP fan Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 If Chawla gets 5' date='England would have scored 1000 by then[/quote'] Got 4 :omg: Is he actually a good bowler? :hmmm: Still 23...
Robelinda Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 LOL at everyone thinking that Sehwag is the same player as 8 years ago. Reality check needed, a very big one. The fear factor is well gone.
Swing_n_Speed Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 The match is all Viru. Only he can give us this game
Old guy Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 LOL at everyone thinking that Sehwag is the same player as 8 years ago. Reality check needed' date=' a very big one. The fear factor is well gone.[/quote'] 3 years ago...rest i agree with..
King Tendulkar Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 He should be batting 6 now. Rahane should have opened
