Sandeep99 Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Nah cmon bro we all know that was just a one off. That was the oldies generation. They're reflexes slowed and Zaheer was too old' date=' Ishant too young. The Kohli generation should easily win in England. Everyone knows English batsmen have no skill, they're just textbook players but no flair, nothing. Indian batsmen are far superior skill wise and upcoming players like Mandeep Singh and some U-19 kid play on foreign pitches pretty well. So definitely 4-0 to India next time they tour. Umesh and Ishant will probably match the English bowlers as they will have more experience. :nice:[/quote'] :whack: stupid comments..
kubrickian Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Why are mods merging every thread about India vs England into one thread ? Why cant we have discussions in different threads relating to the series ?
King Tendulkar Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Why are mods merging every thread about India vs England into one thread ? Why cant we have discussions in different threads relating to the series ? exactly
Lord Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 FWIW' date=' Raina got some really rough decisions in England. I'm not saying he's a good Test match batsman but yea.[/quote'] yeah I remember him asking for review once:haha:
kubrickian Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Suresh Raina (capt), Ambati Rayudu, M Vijay, Abhinav Mukund, Manoj Tiwary, Robin Bist, Ashok Menaria, Yuvraj Singh, Ajinkya Rahane That's actually a pretty decent batting lineup. It could have been interesting to see how they perform against English bowlers but unfortunately, there is no coverage.
BERGKAMP Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Why are mods merging every thread about India vs England into one thread ? Why cant we have discussions in different threads relating to the series ? yeah some of these mods have got bad OCD it seems.
ravishingravi Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Why are mods merging every thread about India vs England into one thread ? Why cant we have discussions in different threads relating to the series ? Hyperactive mods.
Crookbond Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Why are mods merging every thread about India vs England into one thread ? Why cant we have discussions in different threads relating to the series ? I do not think this is new - I have never got the idea about merging threads in any case unless they are duplicates.
Feed Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Finn injured in England warm-up An injury to Steven Finn compounds a testing first day for England in their opening tour match against India A. More... India A v England XI, tour match, Mumbai, 1st day Finn to undergo scan on thigh injury ESPNcricinfo staff October 30, 2012 Steven Finn left the field to have a scan on a thigh injury early on the first day of England's tour match against India A Steven Finn, the England fast bowler, left the field with an injury inside the first hour of play on day one of the warm-up game against India A at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. Finn was reported to have suffered discomfort to his right thigh and was set to have a scan in the evening, with an update on his fitness expected on Wednesday. Finn took the new ball and bowled three overs in his first spell after India A chose to bat. He walked off after bowling one over in his second and did not return, with Jonathan Trott filling in for a few overs with his medium pace. Tim Bresnan, who replaced Finn after his opening burst, had a hand in the first two wickets to fall and ended the day with 3 for 59. James Anderson claimed a single wicket from 17 overs, as England chose to rest vice-captain Stuart Broad. Graham Onions is the other fast-bowling option in the squad. "Obviously we're disappointed one of our fast bowlers had to go off," Bresnan said of Finn. "But it's one of those things where you just have to step up a bit, and each of you has to take on his responsibility." "We're not sure what's happening. The doc will check him out back at the hotel. All we know is it's hurting, and scans will reveal more." England went with allrounder Samit Patel as their second spinner, ahead of Monty Panesar, and there was also no place for Jonny Bairstow or Eoin Morgan. Kevin Pietersen made his expected return and Nick Compton was preferred as opener to Joe Root. Graeme Swann claimed three wickets for England as India A closed the day on 369 for 9. Manoj Tiwary fell seven short of a century, with Abhinav Mukund and Yuvraj Singh also contributing fifties as India A recovered from a precarious 190 for 6.

Old guy Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 bowler of the series already injured :nervous:
India-KXIP fan Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Good news, hopefully he's out for a few months though :nice: Hopefully Swann also trips over and breaks his leg :diablo:
Number Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 ^ hope he gets well soon and our batsmen play him with ease. I'd rather lose than wishing an injury to any player.
