At the end of the day that should have been the primary objective win or lose. If your franchise could not help develop even a single cricketer shame on them. I sincerely respect Royals on that count. They scout for talent.
They used to when they had Darren Berry and Jeremy Snape in their staff during Warne days but not anymore. They have not found any new unknown cricketer in last 2-3 years.

If Rahane were to be with MI, he would probably be sitting in the bench. Just give chance to talent they already have before searching for external talent. In RR's case i think Warne was more proactive. They need a strong captain with vision. Dravid will retire soon.

http://www.cricbuzz.com/cricket-news/51090/Wicket-did-more-when-we-batted-Karthik Wicket did more when we batted: Karthik
"There was a lot in it initially. The ball was seaming around a lot. It was a little damp. It was a bit like a Test match. It was a question of survival in the first 4-5 overs," said Karthik, who top-scored for the hosts with a well-made 44 in 39 balls.

Once Kohli gets going its gonna be impossible to defend any target against RCB. Its better to chase against their trundlers. MI should try DK as opener. Someone else can come in for Franklin.
No. You can't have openers like Sachin/Franklin, Sachin/Karthik at the top. This should be the order IMO. Sachin Smith Sharma Pollard Karthik Raydu Franklin should not be in the team

But Bhajji after losing the toss said he wanted to bat anyway :(

The only difference between MI and DC has been luck. If only DC had some luck, they would have had more wins. MI have been tremulously lucky in this tournament with their overall performance being very poor. Everybody should agree with this.

Nope, you have won from some impossible positions. Some matches which you deservedly should have lost after being outplayed from in the match. While DC have lost matches from which they had total control. DC & MI have no difference if only DC could "buy" some luck.........
