All I am saying is that 12 deliveries, bowled by 2 different bowlers of different speeds, cannot be at the exact same speed to the first place of decimal. All deliveries were shown as 147.3 k. Vinay is obviously capable of bowling a couple of deliveries at very high speeds. But in the super over the speed gun reading on TV was stuck. Even if Vinay actually bowled a 149 k ball it was still shown as 147.3 k. The reading isnot phicksed but it was a short term telecast error.

But he howled 1 delivery in excess of 150 in australia rank half tracker which got the treatment. I thnk when he tried to bowl fast he looses control.

They are bowling the same speeds in the IPL Infact slightly slower. 80 k to 90k are more test match speeds.

Pitch on which medium pacers bcom medium fast bowlers and Fast Bowers bcom UNPLAYABLE.....greenish pitch. How CUD he bowl so SLOW( bet 120 to 130) their is un beleivable How cud he get hit and not SUCEED their..... That was a AWFUL debut

Good that rajasthan royals played rahul shukla....shukla may bowl well In the next match as his nerves wud be more settled
rkt.india Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 I think it probably was the case than VK got one delivery in that range and then the speed gun got stuck there..out of shock.:giggle: Jokes apart VK can hit that speed.. No he cant. He at best can hit 140-142 when put extra effort. That 150 K was about 130-135 k ball which Christian hit for 4. Such broadcasting technical malfunction happen every now and then. Once Zak was shown hitting 170 but it actually just a broadcasting error . Similarly, Shoiab Akhtar in 2011 WC hit one ball at 159 which was another error because he was barely hitting 150 let alone hitting 159. Those speeds are not taken into account on IPL website. Take a look. Every ball in super over last 8-9 ball was shown at 147.3 while on second ball of the Super over by Steyn commented said it was 143K, which indicates there was some broadcast technical error. http://www.iplt20.com/stats/2013/fastest-ball
