vishalvirsingh Posted April 18, 2013 Author Posted April 18, 2013 I have played at 120K thru Tennis bowl and even that's fine So 135+ is Good Pace but these guys r professionals and practice against bowling machine And so Quality of Batting has Improved a lot.... Since I have played 120K I believe 145+ is Unplayable and if a player bowls 2 to 3 overs at that pace with simple line length.....he will get that batsman Out I kinda believe that No batsman can handle to save himself for 20 balls ( if the balls are 140 to 150) even in tests or ODi "s or whatever

express bowling Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Kaul is only as quick as Mohit with less control. Bumrah should play more. Gony played last match and is no youngster. Only Shukla is real quick bowler among these guys. Kaul is definitely quicker than Mohit. He looks lively fast-medium whereas Mohit is medium-fast. I agree that Shukla is the only genuine quick among the uncapped players. But Kaul has the potential to add pace.

vishalvirsingh Posted April 19, 2013 Author Posted April 19, 2013 Umesh varied his pace from 109K to 146K He wasn't consistent 140+ but intelligently had many slow balls in 109 119 121 range too He bowled many 140.6 and 140.8 type of balls Even a 144 and 145.6 which I wrote as 146K I think that ball was his fastest....

He is not really quick but was still quicker than Warrier. Warrier barely clocked 135K in the two matches I have seen of him. Warrier was overhyped by coaches.
