Ultimate_Game Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 :WTF: Thats banned in cricket. When u come to bat u must compulsorily wear both pads. How on earth they allowed u that. Must be dumb umpires :cantstop: In school days that used to often pretty regularly. In fact for the last delivery the non striker usually used to run without any pads in our school and club cricket :haha:
ravishingravi Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 But my question is why not play with a helmet throughout? Do the chances to hit a boundary off a fast bowler increase if batting without a helmet? This really has me stumped. Nothing new here. Maybe he was sweating profusely. Or maybe he saw Pak. great Inzi bhai and Ijaz bhai take the helmet off in the final overs.
Ultimate_Game Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Nothing new here. Maybe he was sweating profusely. Or maybe he saw Pak. great Inzi bhai and Ijaz bhai take the helmet off in the final overs. But with just 2 balls to go and match done why call for it again :dontknow:
kubrickian Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 I gotta say it was very rude of Umar Akmal to ignore the umpires who didnt allow him to change gloves and changed them anyway. What does he think of himself ? Arrogant son of a *****. A ban coming up for him.
BeautifulGame Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 In school days that used to often pretty regularly. In fact for the last delivery the non striker usually used to run without any pads in our school and club cricket :haha: Fair enough. We did a lot in school days too.But thats mainly because we rarely got any extra pads.Only 2 set of pads for the whole team in those times But when u get into university team these rules became very strict.
BERGKAMP Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 What your suggesting was to purposefully try and injure him' date=' not a standard bouncer.[/quote']

Had it been Bucknor he would have given Akmal out the very next ball for whatever reason :haha:
Texy Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 5 mil on pak win 1 million pak will win. 1 million pak win 5 million Pakistan to win I will pay for him.Hum hindustanion kaa bada dil :--D Paise bhejo Everyone else is paid :aha: ....special thanks to Coffee for the extra $$ Namo namo maata :aha:
Ultimate_Game Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 why didnt umpires allow Coz of time wasting. Ump had refused Akmal to change his gloves and Akmal had a great idea of playing around with helmet after the match was already lost :hysterical: You can't make this shyte up even if you tried :cantstop::cantstop::cantstop::cantstop:
Manny_Pacquiao Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 it was a definitely signal of fixing' date='maybe he was saying guys I did my job[/quote'] first thought that came to my mind. they should look at his bank accounts, search his hotel room, etc.

Trundler27 Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 well all those who had pak in the final perhaps thought that afridi would come to the party lol come on windies all the way
Ultimate_Game Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 then that was stupid of umpires' date='it may be genuinely wet[/quote'] Nope... it clearly looked like the Paki think tank wanted to have a word with the batsman. You know how the team sends message on to the field with drinks/gloves. But since match was already so much behind the clock, umpire was having none of it but who can win with Akmal in terms of bone-headedness ::giggle:
coffee_rules Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 For protection in case Pakistani fans threw stones at him while he walked to the pavilion.
Texy Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 May be he was about to do the dua thing on the pitch :dontknow: Paki 1st world problems
Haarkarjeetgaye Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 he had requested for an extra baby over for Pakis:hysterical:
Ultimate_Game Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Do Pakis choke in semis coz... they fluke to get to the semis and are found out at the first hurdle? i mean in 2010 they lost 2 of their super 8s, managed to beat NZ and reached semis and lost to Aus. In 2011 WC they played the Q/F game against WI and then lost to India in the semis and here they fluked a win against SA n super 8s, were thrashed by India and only managed to beat Aus who had nearly booked their semi-final berth and didn't show up. And out goes Pakis in semis once again.
kubrickian Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 They seem to be the new South Africa. :hehe:
