rkt.india Posted May 11, 2012 Author Posted May 11, 2012 Is this article supposed to be taken seriously? Author ki bhavnaao ko samjho.
Cricket Tragic Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Yeah sure. How many of these phhhassst bowlers will take 200 test wickets at under 30? I'm not even talking about sub-25 here, which is what the great ones average.

But did the author talk about them being great? :dontknow: No Bowler in India averages less than 30 in its history apart from Kumble 29.65.
diga Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 With proper grooming and guidance, Yadav, Awana, Aaron and Dinda can become IndiaÃÔ four-pronged pace battery. http://www.cricketcountry.com/cricket-articles/Yadav-Aaron-Dinda-Awana-could-become-India-s-four-pronged-pace-battery/14390 Atleast the title/article says that they are four pronged pace attack.. meaning they play together
Needforspeed Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Dont write off Shami Ahmed, Abu Nechim and Pawan Suyal yet. They have been unfortunate enough to be stuck in the wrong IPL teams. (MI & KKR). MI becos of Munaf and RP Singh and KKR because of Rajat Batia and Brett Lee.
daryl1985 Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Dont write off Shami Ahmed' date=' Abu Nechim and Pawan Suyal yet. They have been unfortunate enough to be stuck in the wrong IPL teams. (MI & KKR). MI becos of Munaf and [b'] RP Singh and KKR because of Rajat Batia and Brett Lee. That sums up everything that is wrong about Indian cricket when it comes to pace bowling.
PaceAttack Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 I personally think Ishant' date=' Aaron, Umesh, Shami can be our four lethal bowlers, in ways all different and all can bowl at pace, Awana, Dinda am not convinced about test's, maybe ODI'S.[/quote'] Agree with u. I would add Awanna in that list. Not sure abt Dinda tho.
SLICKR392 Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Yadav, Aaron and Awana may be a good pace attack. But Dinda? That guy is like smashed potato when playing for India.
msb1991 Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Yadav' date=' Aaron and Awana may be a good pace attack. But Dinda? That guy is like smashed potato when playing for India.[/quote'] It is not beyond a player to improve! He has played two ODIs this year, he did well in one and poorly in another.
Old guy Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 It is not beyond a player to improve! He has played two ODIs this year' date=' he did well in one and poorly in another.[/quote'] they have problem with his action which tbh is lil stupid this guy even restricted gayle and ab in ipl :dontknow: he bowled yorker after yorker if he stays fit he can be a good odi bowler for us
SLICKR392 Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 It is not beyond a player to improve! He has played two ODIs this year' date=' he did well in one and poorly in another.[/quote'] Look at the way he has been bowling in IPL after the Asia Cup...and he there isn't anything special in him...even if he makes it to the National side, he isn't gonna long just like our other bowlers.
msb1991 Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Look at the way he has been bowling in IPL after the Asia Cup...and he there isn't anything special in him...even if he makes it to the National side' date=' he isn't gonna long just like our other bowlers.[/quote'] He has bowled very well in this IPL. 140kph and swings it. Great slower ball too.
PaceAttack Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Dinda is a big no for me. We have seen him bowl in Asia cup. He was smashed by Bangladeshi batsmen.
msb1991 Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 By that logic, we saw Umesh bowl poorly against Zimbabwe in debut series and has been inconsistent in this IPL, we saw Varun bowl poorly in the Irani Trophy, we saw Ishant bowl poorly against England, West Indies and Australia, etc...
PaceAttack Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 By that logic' date=' we saw Umesh bowl poorly against Zimbabwe in debut series and has been inconsistent in this IPL, we saw Varun bowl poorly in the Irani Trophy, we saw Ishant bowl poorly against England, West Indies and Australia, etc...[/quote'] Umesh wasn't bowling 150s at that time and in IPL even steyn got smashed. Varun haven't played much and he has done well in whatever opportunity has has got at the International level. Ishant wasn't smashed by Bangladeshis. He is a special talent and he has won many matches for us in the past and its not fair to compare Ishant with Dinda.
Laaloo Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 I think you should have as varied attack as possible.. Yadav/Aaaron/Awana are all similar kind of bowlers. One dimensional attack may not succeed on a flat track Our Kaptaan has already said that Umesh Yadav and Aaron are similar problems and as long as hes the kaptaan, these two wont get a game together :((
sivadarsh2 Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 I think Yadav is better aron and dinda, he has got both pace and bounce. He has perfomed in the Australian tour as well.He was the one who troubled the Australian batsmen in the absence of zaheer khan.I think the future of Indian bowling relies on Umesh ydav Cricket Live Score
Sidhoni Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Our Kaptaan has already said that Umesh Yadav and Aaron are similar problems and as long as hes the kaptaan' date=' these two wont get a game together :(([/quote'] These 2 played together in the home ODI series against WI. They also won us the first ODI with the last-wicket stand.
Rightarmfast Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 ok...I must admit I have given up on cricket and I totally hate /detest IPL...So plz update me guys...How fast is this Awana ? I saw a few balls in which he took 2 wickets last night and he bowled around 138...Is that his top ? Laugh at me, but I think for experience sake, even Agarkar should be given a few int matches here n there...I mean the guy is still touching 135 and can york...If the lethal vinay can play, why cant ajit ?
