The kind of high risk innings he played yesterday may not always work out. The day he gets out off the first or second ball to such a shot...we guys on ICF will be commenting on how stupid the shot was or he should be more cautious etc etc..... This high risk guy is the MSD of old. The 'responsible' guy is MSD after captaincy.

When asking rate is high or when you are trying to set a decent target, I would rather a player try and get out and give a chance to others, rather than hog deliveries and lose the game right there. It is a different story when you are chasing a modest total though.
