What are you guys talking about' date= did you even watch what happens among the crowd ? They corner the Indians and beat them up because they're 'black'. Racist slang is deliberately used when a player is near a section of the crowd or gets to kick the ball. Meanwhile, Ghris Gayle is a hero in India and so was Brian Lara & many others of similar race. Staring on people just isn't the same as cornering & punching them repeatedly, is that so hard to understand ?

Please stop getting information about India and Russia from BBC. BBC has a historical hatred for these countries.
+1 When it comes to reporting on global politics the BBC is nothing but an extension of their governments communication machinery....aka PROPOGANDA! And yes they have a pathological hatred for Russia. The number of wars promoted by the BBC thanks largely to false reporting is downright scary. I agree with some posters that the discrimination in India between regions and shades of color is border-line racism, only reason it can't be called racist is cause they are all of the same race. Then again what is shown in the video (haven't seen, guessing based on poster's comments) seems to be of a different league.

You ignorant lot should read a lot more before associating the premier media group of the world with such nonsense. The news group is criticized from both ends for being pro-left/right for some weird reasons and although not perfect, it would be much more beneficial for the world to have more of news media like the bbc. I'm sure you lot were 'offended' by the recent Top Gear India special.

Saw it on panorama. It looked real bad.... Similar ideology, views and organizations exist in UK too. Not to mention if filmed, you will see similar deplorable attacks here too.. Programmes like this will put additional pressure on Ukranian/Polish authorities to ensure safety and also arrest all of those involved. So I support BBC.

I did watch Panorama as a matter of fact. Lets face it less than 20 years ago racism was in your face in this country, it has died down now, but you still have your ignorant bunch. The point is if you wanted to make a documentary about Racism in football in the UK, I'm sure you could get some pretty disturbing footage. Ukraine, Poland have failed to stamp down on it like FA have done here, and its done so openly there.

The UK has come a long way in terms of racism. Of course it still exists but it is nowhere near as bad as places like Ukraine and Russia.

lol, Dailymail is the baap of TOI and India TV. btw...No one's denying that some of our countrymen are racist and a lot needs to be done on our part as well. It doesnt help that most of the expat drug peddlers are Nigerians and our officials tend to stereotype Africans. All said and done, the situation is pathetic especially in Ukraine and Russia. A friend of mine was doing his medicine in Russia and the horror stories (3 of his friends were killed) were unimaginable. The racism that exists in most part of the world is passive whilst here its overt and in your face.

One uncle refused to share water with me in Delhi's 43c heat. Second one thought I'm from Africa or something, he treated me like I'm a drug peddler from Nigeria in Delhi. and dont even ask about third uncle who probabbly thought I am in desperate need for money or accomodation in Delhi, his moves towards me were fishy, he was certainly gay though he was well dressed gentleman in brand new German luxury car, very soft spoken, just 40 mins lift in his car sent shivers down my spine! I'm a very chubby guy, he probabbly thought I am soft target. :(( Some tips - Take your own car Dont shave (or u will attract unwanted attention) Always carry water with you Learn some hindi
