Personally Iwould have loved to see Ian Pont' date=' [b']C Mcdermott, Fannie, who are more into the scientific , technique fitness side of bowling, with Umesh or Shami, Kamran's bowling coach as assistant coach, am not sure Mc Grath is the right choice.

I would love to see McDermott with the Indian team. MRF academy is useless and I would prefer McDermott to work with the team and get upcoming pacers to shadow him while he's in India. A 15 day stint once or twice every year at the academy is unlikely to make much of a difference.

IIRC he mentioned it earlier too, I read his interview in Indian Express, guy was probably Harjeet Singh or Harpal Singh from Punjab, I'm not too sure ATM.
