Sandeep99 Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Indin cricket marching towards mediocrity!! Can't stop now...mission accomplished Cheeka
BERGKAMP Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 BIG FACEPALM id rather have given laxman a farewell series than have this quota pick in the team.
adi B Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 pure quota system...such a feckin disgrace
Raghav_12 Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 So VVS Laxman retired to make way for S badrinath. Great. Many people here would feel content now.
kubrickian Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Badrinath has never looked good enough at the international level. I dont know why they keep bringing him back. He is pathetic even against decent quality fast bowling, forget the likes of Steyn or Broad.
Trichromatic Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Then people wonder why this 'wc-cup-winning-test-no-1' selection committee gets so much criticism. :phehehe:
MCcricket Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Just when u thought the idiot who has done enough damage is gone he pulls out a rabbit out of his ass lol literally Badrinath is a classless, stroke less wonder, he will make a trundler look like a express bowler lol.
jairamesh Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Two words: India A. What does India A stand for? What is the concept behind India A? :headshake: More and more I think I wouldn't be too sad if NZ win this series. Let's recap the current India A squad (btw also an iffy selection): Abhinav Mukund (capt.), Naman Ojha (wk), Mandeep Singh, Anustup Majumdar, Unmukt Chand, Ashok Menaria, Ambati Rayudu, Suryakumar Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Akshay Darekar, Vinay Kumar, Shami Ahmed, Jalaj Saxena, Rahul Sharma, Rituraj Singh and Jaydev Unadkat I can't seem to find Badri's name in there.
Crookbond Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 ^ As usual you've got it correct - India A makes no sense after this selection.
SLICKR392 Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Keeping him away from the team for a long time. Now making a mockery out of him by selecting him as a replacement.
vvvslaxman Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Badrinath will announce retirement in another year or so :cantstop:
jairamesh Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 ^ As usual you've got it correct - India A makes no sense after this selection. I would have accepted Badri's selection if he was in the India A squad for NZ tour, or if Mukund/Rayudu got selected. This just stinks of blatant regional/zonal selection(or whatever people want to call it).
Spiderguy252 Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 S Badrinath vs Umar Akmal. Start the threads!
superstar Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Chennai Bradman !!! He is a million times better than nohit.
vvvslaxman Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Even if there was going to be regional bias i would not have picked this dude. Rather Dinesh Karthik who i rate him above Badri.
The Dark Horse Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Expected reactions, but he wont be in the playing XI so don't sweat over it guys :P
