I don't know why Sanjay F. Gupta did not direct any film after Karam in last 7 years. Karam was such a different take on a not so different subject. He made it non-bollywoodish through his fantastic cinematography, but this film did not work at BO. I think if it was released now, it would have given John another big hit.
