Dhoni scored almost double the amount of all the players combined..if anything he should REMAIN in the team. my 2 cents: Gambhir should be out indefinitely...will ALWAYS get out nicking the ball outside off to slip.. We will never know whether we could get a better captain unless we try a new one .... isn't it ? Dhoni is failing completely as a test captain. What can be worse if we try a new one ? Also, Dhoni, knowing that his captaincy is safe, is not performing optimally as a test captain. Something he would have if there were accountability.

If we lose this overseas series too, i would prefer Dhoni to be our wicket keeper batsman but ripped off captaincy. There is huge inexperience amongst alternative captains, however, one cannot say that inexperienced captain will necessarily flop. Look at South Africa. They opted for Graeme Smith when he was 22 year and few months old. He made debut in 2002 and was given captaincy in 2003 with experience of just 8 test matches. We cannot use inexperience and give it 100% weight age while deciding to not give someone captaincy.I do not mean that we should blindly follow what SA did. However, the point is that it is not prudent to think that we cannot change captain just because there is inexperience in the team.

Pace Would have played 6 batsman Never would have picked cronie corrupt players like dhoni in jadeja and binny May have axed dhoni a while back to a keeper who can catch and dive, plus who scores runs overseas(well dhone dhoni scoring runs overseas for first time ever, shame about all those previous years) PLUS would have made the team motivated, determined , with desire to win and do well in tests and well for india. He would evidenced that from his own leadership and desire We have a leader who all the players know don't care about test cricket for india and only worried about csk and money. No talk of process for csk, there its about winning. The impact and influence this has on the team when they all know the skipper is not that bothered is enormous , as shown by the ass rapes and lack of fight consistently for many years now. Heck the lack of botherdness from the skipper even made us lose at home to England for first time since 1754!! We may not have won all the matches overseas under ganguly but we would have fought hard and certainly would not have been raped consistently with such weak surrender like this

Well if who is captain is based on performance of player then he should have been sacked years and years ago. Well done for FINALLY scoring runs but not related to wether has a brain to be a skipper or wether is corrupt free to be skipper. So what do we do next? We have lost the series, played terribly, surely the captain, Dhoni's position should be completely evaluated and possibly be sacked.
