What's the point of repeating the same things every time. Its been 2 years since 0-8 and we have climbed up to no.2 spot. Though our real test will start with the coming tours of SA, NZ and Eng. Yes, he was lucky to survive as test captain after 0-8, but whining about it now is of no use.

The problem with Dhoni is he is very bad in handling fast bowlers, given all the series coming up, it will be worth noting how he does both with bat and as a captain. Dhoni has had some important knocks like in eng 2007 and sa he got a century in 1st test and 20 in test we won.He needs to play that type of knocks more not the last eng tour where he got runs when matches were over.My problem is i feel we have excuse ready if we loose that we have a young team.

what century ???what he got in SA is that 90 but that was when match was already gone. how long will he hang his hat on to that one fricking fluky innings of 2007 in england, this is 2013, most of his career he has looked more like tailender rather than a batsman in these conditions.

If he has so much trouble with new ball then he should not be in team in the first place. Due to his ineptitude Indian score often becomes from 210/4 to 260 all out, not only gets out to new ball but also exposes the tail. His batting frailties have been covered up due to the failures of more experienced batsmen so far. He has been extremely lucky in that regard, he never had to should any blame for losses or his inability to bat but got the lion's share of credit in the wins.

You effing can't keep on promoting trundlers and take them abroad.. He's literally destroying the careers of potential fast bowlers of Indian cricket just because he believes in groupism and wants to not hurt his hands by wicket keeping against fast bowlers.. If you effing cant keep against them then allow another keeper instead of destroying the careers of potential fast bowlers... Bowlers like Pankaj Singh etc. might not even get a chance in the Indian team just because a coward captain remains till WC 2015...

Can you kindly list the careers of promising fast bowlers he has 'destroyed'? And ofcourse its all Dhoni's fault when selectors do no pick Pankaj, even for the A team. And if it was about his hands hurting against pacers, Yadav and Aaron would have never made it. Leave the obsession with pace and you will realize Yadav is nothing special in ODIs. Yadav didn't play these two tests as there was space for just two pacers and with both Bhuvi and Shami in good form and doing well unfortunately Yadav missed out. He may even miss out in SA if Zak makes a comeback.

Why is that. A lot of people have not forgiven dhobi for 8-0 and losing at home to england. And how selection committe decided rightly that he should be sacked and how srini mama and csk priorities mant he was saved not on merit but on franchise issues. His recent treatment of pacers and selction of trundlers has been nothing short of a disgrace. 90mph axed while Ishant, viinay and unadmunt played and picked. Then we discover a great pacer and dhoni tries to break him and trates him disgustingly. The last odi showed dhoni is a total idiot or something more sinister is at play. Not gving him the new ball was bad enough but then to give shami 5 sepearte spell, what was that all about??? Was he trying to injure the lad? That was the latest explanation here for why he doesnt give chances to fast bowlers:giggle: I agree there are quite a few flaws in his thinking(speaking about tests).But until virat or pujara prove themselves in a few more series,we have no other option.
