Yes then second best.:cantstop: I know that as a captain he would be a flop in Australia. He has no clue how to use his bowlers in those conditions, but one step at a time. He is NOT getting sacked from ODI captaincy. That is just not happening and I am pretty certain that no matter who the captain is we are not winning the WC in Australia, we just don't have the right players. But we can put up a good show in England and even win that series with a new skipper.

More than enough practice. new coach, zaheer, srinath, mcgrath all helping with bowling. Guys like uthappa, pujara, yadav, aaron, pandey, kuldeep yadav all get a go, maybe manoj tiwary. Dhoni as ODI batsman and thats it. Pujara for test captaincy. Rohit sharma for t20 captaincy. Cant be worse than WINNING NOTHING. Axe non performers. No long ropes. Look at raina, he got dropped and came back a t20 beast.

My point is not to pimp malinga Just to point out this need twenty years plus before world cup to gain experience is not neccesarily true as Mr Dhoni has tried to propagate. We are losing left right and centre in all formats away from home, world cup is in oz. Dhoni is clueless away from home, lets make the change, will give us better chance. Plus there are quite a few games before world cup, so any skipper will have loads more experience then Malinga who is taking world cup back home to SL in his suitcase right now

Malinga rocked up literally on the day as skipper and said thanks very much super cool and super experienced dhoni, I will have the cup thanks very much. Plus I will bowl to you and make you look a mug! New skipper now will have plenty of time to get ready for world cup in oz Dhoni with all this so called experience, still overseas bowls trundlers galore, gives one over spells to fast bowlers, bowls part timer galores and tries to stroll through games looking cool.
