Cricket_Guru Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 I thought they were the two of the best indian cricket has produced recently? are they under performing, been looked after for test arena? just a query as am surprised neither of them are part of indian set up now. atleast in LOI's
SLICKR392 Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Aaron's injured. Yadav's gotta work more on length. They are young..and AFAIK they aren't gonna get involved in any fixing :giggle:
vamos_rafa Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Yadav has been playing domestic cricket instead of the T20 WC. Augurs well for him right now, coz he's just not cut out for LOIs.
MCcricket Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Aaron might be a better bowler once he gets fit and stays fit for longer time, Umesh hasn't figured out what kind of bowler he is, lengths, control, both are young should be taken care of as genuine fast bowlers are hard to find, though not express these boy's can go into mid 150 when at their best.
bajrang Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 i was trying to think of two young pakistani fast bowler (not trundler) who are in similar situation as these two, so the OP could better understand, but then i realized pakistan has no young fast bowler. :O and no OP, junaid khan is trundler but he is in similar situation as yadav, will play england test aron is injured too but hopefully he will be in squad.
Old guy Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 yadav is in test side (riaz the next gr8 isnt) aaron is injured
Old guy Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 btw sandeep sharma out performed next prodigy ,the next blinding green storm the zia ul haq ij under 19 world cup :hysterical:
kubrickian Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 They should just look to play tests and forget about T20s and meaningless bilateral ODIs which are usually played on patta wickets.
indiaregulator Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Who do you guys think will be the best in a few years out of these 4? Aaron Finn Yadav Junaid
msb1991 Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 It will be Finn. Junaid, Yadav and Aaron are all very promising but some way behind Finn.
panther Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 It will be juniad because he is a pakistani and drs( helps pakistani bowlers because they bowl fuller length) same for any indian batsman it's in the blood.
daryl1985 Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Who do you guys think will be the best in a few years out of these 4? Aaron Finn Yadav Junaid Finn by an absolute mile. Has the potential to be England's greatest bowler of the modern era.
cricketpitch Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 I think Aaron is a better ODI bowler and yadav is better test bowler. Yadav should be kept away from LOI's. I see both these guys taking the new ball for India in few years. I hope they fulfill the promise. Shami Ahmed is also good and we have some talent in domestic cricket. Now if only there was a way to have them not playing in the IPL.
MCcricket Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Aaron, Umesh, Ishant NEED A SEASON OR TWO OF COUNTY CRICKET TO GET TO WORLD CLASS, right now they have the potential but fitness and control as well as bowling smarts is what they lack a little bit.
Needforspeed Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 I guess we will see both of them turn out for Delhi Daredevils in the CLT20 soon.
rkt.india Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 I guess we will see both of them turn out for Delhi Daredevils in the CLT20 soon. Aaron is not playing CLT20. He is undergoing a tonsillectomy.
thongale Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Aaron' date=' Umesh, Ishant [b']NEED A SEASON OR TWO OF COUNTY CRICKET TO GET TO WORLD CLASS, right now they have the potential but fitness and control as well as bowling smarts is what they lack a little bit.Can they last that long?:--D

Fully agree with both of you, I was going to say the same thing. Forget IPL, consider playing county or even australian domestic cricket. It would be a boost to the test side to have a couple of bowlers who feel at home bowling on away tours. The large majority of bowlers get ripped in T20, and T20 bowling isn't going to help you in tests anyway. We need to leave the T20 bowling to our part-timers.
