Cmon guys.....as Obnoxious as there fans may be and given the mediocre team they have,the very fact that they find themselves in SF and Finals regularly must be complimented....They are never rated as the top 3 favs but still ended up finding themselves in SF and Finals of these Tournaments....Infact if you think about it they don't even have the firepower of most of the other teams especially in T20. I think it's time to look beyond the obnoxious fans we get and see what the Srilankans are doing in major tournaments to acheive this onsistency with their limited resources,may be we can put our ego aside and learn something. from them. I mean think about it Aus,Ind,Eng are all much superior teams but in recent times don't have the same amount of consistency as the Loins have.

Even kiwis manage to reach semis of ICC tourneys most of the time :dontknow: As for Loins check oit their schedule the last 2 ICC tourneys. In 2011 they only beat the likes of NZ and Eng to get to the finals. In this tourney more of the same except they managed to beat Pakis in semis but overall they had the luck of the draw.

Those were tri-series tournament finals not world tourneys and TBF the Indians did receive a lot of flak for it. It's only but natural for Sri Lanka to receive so too.

The fact that it gonna attribute to the loss of charm of major ICC tournies, as much as i find their team boring, I would rather take a Srilankan win over their continuos kick out of the Finals, this is getting ridiculously boring.

They have reached 4 finals, format has nothing to do with it morgan, they are choking big time, for me personally, i am finding it mighty boring to watch finals against a team who meekly surrenders without any fight, all their 4 finals have turned into one sided affairs.

Format has favored them in the last two world tourneys.
