vvvslaxman Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Arent there a sizable no of indians who make pilgrimage visits to Pakistan every year? Its upto our security forces to keep track of them when they are in India. only option is to enable them with a GPS tracking device which is not feasible. Not other way you can track them. Once they merge.. they can easily get lost. There are so many terrorist camps in pakistan. One of them will train a few and mix them with the others. Or they can have a regular guy do the job.

Can taht same accusition be made on our people visiting there for pilgrimage. How come Pakistani forces handle them efficiently. It shouldnt be exactly difficult to monitor them if our security forces are efficient and given efficient man power imo. Particularly those we have clear and exact details about. If they manage to slip as u are saying just publish their photos as criminals in every media. US allows thousands of Pakistanis in and out of Pakistan yet dont have this paranoia?

Oh but we would not do that, we love to be the moral statues who would tell others about what's right/wrong. However, when it comes to ourselves - all we have is excuses like population etc.
vvvslaxman Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 US allows thousands of Pakistanis in and out of Pakistan yet dont have this paranoia? US is not equal to India in many ways. It is much easier to track someone in US than in India.

Texy Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Let's not forget there are pockets of sleeper cells in Bangalore and other major cities along with areas of local brethren support ....so once you get past the border or airport security....you're home free
vvvslaxman Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Why is it so? without proper contacts inside US you won't be granted Visa. In India.. there is no such thing as identity. You can't differentiate between a local and someone from Pakistan.
Clarke Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Not at the risk of national security. So we shouldn't have Pakistanis at all while their team is playing ?
vvvslaxman Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 So we shouldn't have Pakistanis at all while their team is playing ? Ofcourse players are pakistanis.. they can bring their own relatives. Not totally unknown guys claiming to be fans. Hosting them in India is a big deal in itself. Besides.. How many Australian fans you see in an Indian series in India. You could barely count. Allowing 5000 guys is a huge risk.
Number Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 Allow only girls(preferably pretty ones) ,no headache for police/intelligence as they will be tracked by many people for nothing.
Clarke Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 Allow only girls(preferably pretty ones) ' date='no headache for police/intelligence as they will be tracked by many people for nothing.[/quote'] Sorry, couldn't resist :giggle:
India-KXIP fan Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 I expect many of these "cricket fans" to have other "hobbies" (spying' date=' making bombs etc) as well :([/quote'] :hysterical::hysterical: Im going to hell for laughing at that. :(( Surely security will be careful and the people would be tracked. Shouldn't be much danger from these people, they probably are only cricket fans.
urbestfriend Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 Allow only girls(preferably pretty ones) ' date='no headache for police/intelligence as they will be tracked by many people for nothing.[/quote'] I like this, only pretty girls who don't wear Burqua should be given visa B->
JaFanatic Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 allowing the team and the management is itself more than enough. if they allow pakistani fans then the Q is how do they know they're not part of any terror groups? wish they attack those politicians and the officials who granted them
