If a s**t bowler like Unadkat can play a test for India then why not Shami? Tell me isn't he better than Ishant & Dinda?

On a serious note he dint bowl badly & he'll take wkts in the 2nd inngs. Too good a bowler not to pick wkts in a FC match against Mumbai.

his performance is not consistent..........he gets wickets in one inings and in the second he gets nothing......thats not acceptable.....he shud atleats get 1 or 2 during his lean days if he is good enuf ....

Ppl on this thread talk as if we presently have a formidable attack that has quick bowlers capable of getting wkts even on their worst days. My apologies but our pace attack is as barren as an arabian desert with only 1 world class pacer in Zak (who is clearly in the twilight of his career). So I believe there is no harm in trying a few genuinely talented rookies as we have a fairly decent group forming now with Shami right at the top of the pack followed by (refer 80% other threads on here for the names)
