The Outsider
Tendulkar, Yuvraj, and Dhoni are a must - the biggest parasites of the test squad. The rest can be given another series to improve. Link to comment
Sooda
Cant drop the spinners there are no replacements and Ashwin is only playing the 11 th test of his career hopefully he can learn from this. GG like VK needs a kick up the backside, but jettisoning him too would be too much change. Still think the way forward is for GG to bat at 3 and Sehwag at 4 or 5. Pujara has the technique and temperament to open. Not sure what kind of form Rahane is in but he should open with Pujara. Kohli at 4 or 5.. probably at 4 he bats well with Gambhir and Sehwag at 5 gives middle order a bit of experience. Tiwary at 6. Rohit has been struggling in Ranji unfortunately, and I dont think Mukund has been going great guns either Dhoni cant hang around much longer he should quite let Sehwag take the reins. CSK Fan
He played a selfish knock in Mumbai. Has been found wanting in numerous occassions... You seriously believe he will score even these 30 runs outside of India? Why not groom some youngster? Remember we found Tendu at 17 Once Sachin, dhoni, UV are gone, wouldnt that leave enough places in the team for new guys. We would need some senior players in the team, you cannot replace the whole 11 Link to comment
Ravi.
Zaheer, Tendulkar, Yuvi, Ishant. Link to comment
JourneyMan
Ashwin stays based on batting alone. Kohli is too good to drop. Pujara obviously stays. Link to comment
VRV Singh
Keep Pujara, Kohli, Yadav, Ojha. Ashwin can bat at 6. Maybe ask Zaheer to retire from all other formats and wind down his career in Tests (though understand other views about that). The rest are like a bad smell. Link to comment
kubrickian
Yuvraj - not a test batsman to begin with. Picking him shows selectors have no clue what they are doing. Sehwag - replace with someone who can dig in and play a long innings - enough with the quick 30s. Sachin - great batsman but his time is over. Dhoni - remove as captain in tests and make Gambhir the captain. Let him continue as wk and batsman. Its too much workload to be the wicket keeper and also captain the side in tests. He looks exhausted most of the time. Pujara, Kohli, Ashwin, Ojha - I believe these guys have the potential but they are vastly inexperienced. They still need to learn a lot in tests. Link to comment
wobblydoggy
Bell Lets play Root to blood him and see how he does in the fourth test Link to comment

Gambhir shouldn't be anywhere near the team. He was worst batsman in last 30 months and when he started scoring few 50s, he is getting other batsmen run-out. Sehwag is way better than Gambhir. The Realist
Is it not easier to ask the question - Who needs to be kept after this shambolic series? Whole team needs to be ripped apart. Link to comment

See what the retirement of Dravid and Laxman has done. Dhoni and his Father need to go. Link to comment

Rohit S. Ambani
Gambhir - Most selfish Indian player at the moment, his calls for runs have caused run-outs leading to collapse. Pujara - Not consistent, after scoring that double hundred his bat has been silent, poor fielder his dropped catch costed us match, reserved personality hardly motivates team when fielding close in. Ashwin - This guy has better batting stats than bowling stats in series, his main role is to bowl opposition team out, in which he failed miserably. Poor fielder, lethargic attitude overall. Dhoni - Just not suited for Tests, can't lead from front. Started to look 40+. His wicket-keeping has also deteriorated. Ishant - How he made comeback?, I mean we fans want to know how selectors realized he has improved? He has hair, wrist bands and necklaces weighing more than his own body weight. Yuvraj - You won us 2 world cup's and you will remain Indian legend no matter if you play Tests or not. So please stay unavailable for Test selection, You are as valuable as Bevan was to Australia, Klusener was to SA, but in Limited overs cricket format! and Give strict Warning to Kohli, Zaheer. Give Harbhajan one more farewell test match and force him to retire from Tests. Link to comment

See what the retirement of Dravid and Laxman has done. Dhoni and his Father need to go. Ofcourse we will lose after SRT goes but it's not like we are doing better right now. We need to find someone like Pujara or kohli and give him time instead of just watching Sachin get out and hoping that one day he will score a 100. Link to comment
