Crookbond Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Gambhir? seriously? He hasn't scored a hundred in 25-26 Test matches lol Dhoni should continue. Yes he's not a very good tactician, but you have to look at what has happened to India's batting as well. It's nothing like what it was 2-3 years ago. Dravid and Laxman left the game. Tendulkar is a clown. He's way past it and is hindering the process of young talent coming through. India's feeble batting was responsible for this loss more than anything. Someone like Kohli will find it difficult as a captain against the Aussies. Gambhir can be, but considering how he has handled himself in the last 2 years (total denial) , how will he handle the team well. although I would say at this time it should be anyone but Dhoni. His sacking is prerequisite to move forward. I was making fun of Gambhir. :giggle:
Sidhoni Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Gambhir shouldn't even be a part of the side with that kind of form. If not MS, it has to be Kohli/Viru.
Lord Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Gambhir shouldn't even be a part of the side with that kind of form. If not MS' date=' it has to be Kohli/Viru.[/quote'] Viru looks disinterested lol.
Eternal Atma Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Viru looks disinterested lol. Natural swag. On a serious note nothing wrong with Viru, he is quite an attacking captain I think. But I think he lacks the man managment skills. Too laidback.
Crookbond Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 I hope Sehwag doesn't play Sunny Leone in the Indian cricket team. He loves all the Sunny's.
Sooda Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 How much captaincy expereince does Kohli have? Pujara has led A sides in Wi and England and might be a stronger candidate if anything. Does or Has Pujara captained his state?
Lord Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 I hope Sehwag doesn't play Sunny Leone in the Indian cricket team. He loves all the Sunny's. meaning?
Laaloo Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Can we play without the captain? Let's send a monkey for the toss and the bowlers can set their own fields. I'm sure the field settings will be more attacking than the one set by the kaptaan currently at the helm.

SLICKR392 Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Gambhir :asleep: He will do well after he is asked to lead the side. Kohli is way too young. Viru is a brain fart leader. TBH we have none, so have a go with him.
Crookbond Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 meaning? http://www.espncricinfo.com/indian-premier-league-2012/content/story/566222.html
Lord Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 http://www.espncricinfo.com/indian-premier-league-2012/content/story/566222.html oh now I remember that:hysterical:
someone Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Virender Sehwag- No. It affects his game + he is not well-known for any composure. Falls into the good player category but terrible captain ( eg. Sachin) Gambhir- A big No. Pre-IPL 5, No one wanted him to be the captain. He just has a very poor body language and plays for himself. Has a tendency to make self-gloating statements. Kohli- No. Being a Indian cricket captain is just not about managing the team on pitch but being the grand ambassador of the country + role model to millions. That is not the case with his attitude and his frequent arguments with players. Plus, he lacks international test experience + not settled in the test team. Plus, why is there a "hype" about his captaincy? He has only captained Indian U-19, but so have many and yet they never proved well in the main senior level. Dark horse- Ashwin. Has a good brain + solid temperament. But, in 1 month time, he has turned from one of best spinners in the world to utterly crap according to some kneejerk supporters + fans. The only ideal solution is taking it step by step. We need to start like 2007, change the captain in the shortest form and gradually grow from that. T20 is where the captain should change and Raina fits the bill completely. For tests, still the best option is Dhoni.

Yoda-esque Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Not sure whether anybody wants to lead this team
Sachin=GOD Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Not sure whether anybody wants is good enough to lead this team
someone Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Blah blahblah That's some spamming going on there. Either provide good points in reply or just sit quiet.

Falls into the good player category but terrible captain ( eg. Sachin). Dhoni falls into a poor players category and a proven crap captain.(in Tests) Gambhir- A big No. Pre-IPL 5, No one wanted him to be the captain. He just has a very poor body language and plays for himself. What about Dhni who played 1 decent knock when his ass was on fire. Body language still better than Dhoni whose is worse than a dead cow. Captain cool to jaise chaar chaand laga rhe hain country ki image me. :hatsoff: Denying DRS then fighting with umpires. Crying from rooftops for rank turners and getting his ass handed back to himself. Saying overseas matches are just practice because we play more at home. Dark horse- Ashwin. T20 is where the captain should change and Raina fits the bill completely. Nobody gives a **** about T20, make anybody the captain. For tests, still the best option is anyone but Dhoni. fixed.
