I will be tempted to put him in there, but I will give him one more chance before coming to the conclusion....but from what I saw today he looks ordinary but was impressive in the IPL

He's not a trundler by any means. He hasnt bowled well in a t20 match whch was his debut match so u cant judge him by that. He's a good prospect who can bowl around 85mph mark & sometimes close to 90mph(rare though). He's a good young fast-med bowler & can be handy in the longer format.

To be Fair, Shami Ahmed is the only bowler who is of an Intl Class, Few performances in the IPL and people start rating as the next best thing..so heres a bubble breaker for you.

Harsh. He bowled just 2 overs FFS.
What's sad is for those two overs the Dhobi will drop him for Mithun. What's worse is hopeless Ishant getting to bowl for two Tests running.

Munaf Patel was not a trundler. he burst on to scene as 90 mph speedster. High hopes. In fact on debut against england scared the hell . But then became a trundelr due to lack of heart and injuries.

Total trundler. Fat little seamer. A case of selectors not watching a players and just picking based on stats or what ever crazy theories they have. This guy is trundle city
Thanks! This guy has an international career

Never watched him but from what Ive read he is nippy ish...? So was Mithun apparently before he made his test debut. Perhaps it was nerves. The decision to give him the last over was pretty daft.

Trust me, he is not the answer

Munaf was not hitting every ball 90 mph, was in 135-145 range, similarly Awana is in 135-143 range. He is not a trundler by any means. He might not be the most talented.

Trust me' date=' he is not the answer[/quote'] Yes. He is not the answer and he will never be a strike bowler or world class, which we do not have anyway, but can certainly be a decent 3rd pacer in away conditions like South Africa where he will get seam and swing. This pitch was dead as a dodo.

Then let the more deserving candidates get a nod ahead of him...Shami Ahmed for one needs to be ahead of all bowlers, i have seen this guy and he is a good prospect, lets just focus on Ishant, Yadav, Aaron, Shami for test matches, these bowlers need a good induction to test cricket...Dinda & Awana are not the answeres...
