Jersey #10 Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Jaddu of Indian team is different from the Jadoo from that movie. this Jaddu only plays in the blue moon.
vvvslaxman Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 If you take out SL stat Gauti's average drops down to 20!!!
vvvslaxman Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 We're missing Irfan big time Combination of Ashwin and Irfan allow us to play an extra seamer (4 seamers). I don't think Batsmen need extra cushion anymore. THey should be forced to play with less cushion.
vvvslaxman Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 GG's numbers r surprisingly good Out of those runs agaisnt Srilanka 9 matches 541 runs 60.11 Avge remaining matches 7 matches 144 runs 20.57 avge

SL had the likes of Herath and Malinga. Yes he's been edgy in other games but don't get this idea of removing his stat vs SL.
vvvslaxman Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Why remove SL? SL had the likes of Herath and Malinga. Yes he's been edgy in other games but don't get this idea of removing his stat vs SL. He is struggling when the opposition has bowlers who can take it away from him. SL bowlers have become bread and butter for our batsmen with insanely frequent matches. Sure they count. STats hide more than they reveal. When you couple with his poking outside in test and T20 formats you can't help but wonder how the heck this guy has a decent average despite being under the pump.
saneindian Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Bhajji in his last 17 matches had similar averages as Ashwin but a better ER. But we heard so much about his inability to take wickets. No similar noise about Ashwin though. And as expected VK was our best bowler of 2012 :hatsoff:

NareshK Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Rohit Sharma- what a tailunt. 14 games Average 12.92. He cant score more than 13 runs on average on flat, batting pitches but he's going to plunder tons in test matches against quality bowling attacks. :hehe:

VRV Singh Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Rohit  he didn't even score that pathetic amount of runs at a decent S/R I think most of those stats for everyone must be against the Lungans.
NareshK Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Vinay has done well to. Vinay has done well in limited over games. He is never going to run through a side but he will bowl economically and keep the pressure on the batsmen by not giving away runs. Its important on flat wickets where there is not much swing or bounce.
Lord Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Take out SL>. let us see where we are.. Sehwag:rofl:
