Dhoni has never really been known to be flexible. He has his fixed ideas and just goes with them. Before Dhoni, we did a lot of different things, even opening with Irfan and succeeded when other openers were failing.

Even NZ tried this strategy and he failed. He was barely comfortable against Hamish Bennett with outside off line. It is a game of confidence, no matter what the format is.

Kohli, when fielding, is more concerned that the wind might be spoiling his hair. His sunglasses might not be in that cool position over his cap. His collar might not stay upward if he dives. His cool wristband might slide down and cover his even cooler tattoo if he jumps too high to take a catch.

Shocked the technique remained the same through out the tour. No adjustments were made, no attempt to play straighter. He didn't also know where his off-stump was, no idea how anyone can resolve that

Both were extremely talented but had off field demons like Pointing's boozing & Clarke's various girl friends. Both had people who kicked them in the behind & dragged them to the bright side & made them work their behinds. The question is who will be that guy to kick kohli's **** & make him work A LOT
