It is one of those things of getting used to it. KP gets out to left arm spinners all the time. Doesn't mean all left arm spinners are classy.
Number Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 He would be disappointed the way he got out in the first ODI(driving an inswinger), was unlucky in the 2nd game. But in the third ODI, it was a tremendous spell. No shame in getting out during such a great spell. His technique isn't the tightest but he will be a better player if he learns from this encounter. would love to see Junaid bowling on flat tracks. :D

saneindian Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Nothing wrong in getting out to a world class seamer. Both are young and are likely to have many more encounters in the future some of which Virat will win and Junaid will be on top in some of those. Junaid is a better bowler than Aamir was at a similar stage of his career and going by how well he bowled in SL tests on some of the flattest decks, could end up with loads of wickets in his career.
daryl1985 Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Junaid has the wood on Kohli after 3 matches. Need to see them face off against each other a few more times. Junaid is a quality prospect but despite his failures in this series i still think Kohli is one of the best ODI bats in the world.
Cevno Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 To be fair these were helpful conditions for Junaid. Especially match 1 and 3. While in Match 2, It was a soft dismissal. Would like to see them on all kinds of surfaces first.
