2 tests out of 4. To be fair had the NZ series been 4 matches i am sure we would have won all 4. Tracks were sporting wickets. The point is India does have a high number of draws when it comes to test matches being played at home. Cant help but speculate that the state associations wanted to see 5 full days of cricket rather than win

2010 series was just a 2-Match series vs AUS. You're probably talking about the 2008 series.

5 tests? lol we used to play 6 test series in the late 70s and 80s. Plenty of 5 test series too.

We have never been good at floggin a dead horse or at minnow bashing th way Lankans have been. We let our guard down easily and that's why we have so many "upsets" against us - B'desh beating us in 2007 WC, Zim beating us in 99 WC, us losing even to Kenya etc.

Worst was the 3rd test. We were 1-0 up having won our 1st away test in a long long time and within the first session got shot for 100-odd.

Yeah. And IIRC in the last test it was it raining at the start of the last day so play started late and immediately after the fall of India's last wicket it started raining once again..

Not at all. He did negotiate our spinners in the IPL well. He should have been in the side from the beginning. His bowling is useless.

this is just as surprising as henriques doing well in the first test..... some players find it easier to get started on these surfaces until our spin battery figures them out or they get too complacent against our pace monsters. Come on now, its not like we shouldn't expect a single 50 from any aussie batter now except for phil hughes (not sure what is he doing on this tour besides his homework assignments).
