Clarke Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Aah, the Hitler comparison, Godwin's law FTW. Just to add some perspective, 3000 kids die EVERY SINGLE DAY due to poor diets in India. Not that its fair to use this Hitler tag, it simply speaks of ignorance, maybe illiteracy. Its just that if you're talking of the blood on their hands due to corruption/inaction/incompetence, one is a tiny pond and the other a limitless ocean.
Desi Cartman Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 I find it funny when congressis, especially that mani shankar who has always licked shoes of Gandhis comes on TV and is visibly upset with BJP and they conveniently forget what their Mai baaps did from Indira gandhis emergency to sanjay Gandhis antics and then Rajiv baba and tree falling earth shaking theory. I may dislike modi but these stupid comments and artificial aansoo for secularism are lol worthy
Tridibans_16 Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Frankly I am not a Modi supporter and mostly will vote a party based on other issues. But actually, we can't deny that Modi has to have done something right in Gujarat, isn't it? How come he has so much support ther? I have few Bohra friends from Surat, even they say that many of them have no issues with them. Infact, come to think of it, there has been zero communal violence in Gujarat since 2002. On the other hand, in my state of Maharashtra, every other week there are riots in Malegaon/ Dhule/ Bhiwandi.
surajmal Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Oh look! Another egg on CONgis' faces Apart from the portrait, the other prominent feature of the dimly-lit front room of Maino's house was the collection of leather-bound speeches and writings of Benito Mussolini. I looked pointedly at them. Without batting an eyelid, Maino declared his unwavering loyalty to Mussolini and Italy's 'admirable' fascist past. The words streamed forth. The current Italian government was composed of a bunch of traitors who had betrayed Mussolini and the Fatherland. All the modern Italian political parties were hopeless, except the neo-fascist front. What Italians needed was compulsory sterilisation. Indira Gandhi smiled benignly out of the silver-frame. Nadia, Sonia's petite and pretty younger sister, sitting beside her father, looked decidedly embarrassed. http://www.outlookindia.com/article.aspx?205112 :hysterical:
vayuu1 Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Credit goes to goes to Rajiv Gandhi & his "shilanyas" for the "biggest riots"...not to forget his statement after Delhi riots referring to indira's death " jab koi ped girta hai to aas paas ki jaade to hilti hi hai.
King Tendulkar Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Manish Tewari is right - a mass murdered like Modi gaining mainstream popularity and power in India would be disastrous. Well Rajeev Ghandi was this and worse. He came in to power etc like above. Was it disastrous?
EnterTheVoid Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Rajiv Gandhi had billions stored away in secret swiss bank accounts. To think, they are flyovers, institutions and a major international airport named after this crook. Selective morality FTW!
Tridibans_16 Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 TBF there is no "Dudh ka dhoola" politician in this country. Hence, the point is what is the practical option for the nation if we want to even dream of developing India to western levels. We have had Congress for two full terms. What is the result? Corrucption, Maoists still a big issue in 3 states if not more, domestic issues (from Owaisi to women empowerment, just name it). Cherry of this cake is the recent spat with Pakistan. They cowardly chopped of the head of our jawan and fled, instead of facing us face to face. What does the govt. do? Nothing. If anything, congessis should be the last ones to speak out against Modi and his shortfalls.
jairamesh Posted January 13, 2013 Author Posted January 13, 2013 Gujarat govt asks Pak delegation to leave VibrantGujarat Summit after tension escalates along LoC Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi has done what the Centre 's failed to do. Modi has politely asked the Pakistani delegation at the Vibrant Gujarat Summit to leave in view of the escalating tension along the Line of Control . According to reports, the 22-member delegation was asked by the Modi government to leave the Summit owing to the friction at the border. The delegation left Gujarat by Friday evening. The Gujarat government, however, has refused to comment on the matter. more at: http://indiatoday.intoday.in/story/narendra-modi-pakistan-delegation-vibrant-gujarat-summit-line-of-control/1/242081.html Whilst Congressi (Shashi Tharoor, Mani Shankar Aiyar, Shoma Choudury) were busy mingling and debating with Pakis in New Delhi just two days after the 8th Jan killings.
asterix Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 What was the Pak delegation doing in an event organised by a mass murderer? Did they took permission to attend from the secularists?
jairamesh Posted January 13, 2013 Author Posted January 13, 2013 What was the Pak delegation doing in an event organised by a mass murderer? Did they took permission to attend from the secularists? It was a congregation of mass murderers; Americans, British, Japanese, Germans, Russians, and Israelis were all there. Congress were abit miffed they weren't invited :hitler:
Tridibans_16 Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 It was a congregation of mass murderers; Americans' date=' British, Japanese, Germans, Russians, and Israelis were all there. [b']Congress were abit miffed they weren't invited :hitler: Are you sure? With the cases of Raja and Vadra in the open, they will surely have moles looking to do some "internal dealings" :giggle:
SLICKR392 Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Some mass murderers of 1984 riots are still in UPA Govt. What about them?
The Outsider Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 I am not denying these things. But the country has regularly gone through such crises. If you term PVN's rule as a catastrophe' date=' then almost every regime would similarly be labeled. So its on a matter of perspective that I have a different opinion.[/quote'] Babri Masjid demolition, it's precursor events, and subsequent events are regular happenings? And even if they are how does it help to have a mass murderer at the helm?
The Outsider Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Ever heard name KamalNath ,he was seen leading a mob in Delhi .He is an Mp and Minister of urban development If Kamalnath can enjoy Power despite being involved in 1984 why can't Modi? And yes you have never defended Tytler or Kumar but never heard you raising any voice against Kamalnath. Is this thread about Kamalnath? The same old stupidity. Instead of discussing Modi, bring in everyone under the sun from Narasimha Rao to Rajiv Gandhi to Kamalnath from his bhakts as if counting the crimes of others makes Modi any less of a killer.
The Outsider Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Yeah, shame they didn't listen to esteemed idiots on internet forums who keep harping the same thing over and over again :hysterical: It is like that children's song, "The wheels on the bus go round and round". Round and round in circles we go. Is using the lyrics of the children's song academic theft? :dontknow: Anyhow, Modi has been served the ultimate humiliation when the bhikaari begged to go to the US and US refused his visa.
Khalpat Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Is using the lyrics of the children's song academic theft? :dontknow: Anyhow, Modi has been served the ultimate humiliation when the bhikaari begged to go to the US and US refused his visa. Oh the irony is never lost, the country which killed most number of muslims, declined Visa to Modi and gave Visa to you.
Texy Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Who's this Manish Tiwari? Another former Gandhi family sewer cleaner?
seedhi Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Is using the lyrics of the children's song academic theft? :dontknow: Anyhow, Modi has been served the ultimate humiliation when the bhikaari begged to go to the US and US refused his visa.Get your facts right at least, Modi was not denied visa. He already possessed one, and it was unilaterally cancelled by the USA. Modi has since not applied for visa to USA. Among people who have been treated the same way by the US are Nelson Mandela and Paul Erdos. It is the USA which now faces the prospect of having to accommodate Modi, its own business leaders (for ex. USIBC) and politicians (several Congressmen) are now singing his praises.
KhanSaab Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Mods can we just have one all encompassing Modi thread? His fanboys get outraged and start a new thread every other day it seems.
