bulbul Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi has come under criticism from his own party candidates Rajasthan for the poor crowd even as leaders in Delhi believe that poor choice of candidates, an article published in the DNA said on Sunday. According to the state-based candidates, Gandhi's delayed arrivals at the rally venues had an adverse affect on the audience as many left after turning impatient. The same was found at a rally in New Delhi where Gandhi arrived much behind the schedule and had to drastically cut short his speech because of the thinning crowd. Even Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit had to urge the people to hear the Congress vice-president but of little success. http://news.oneindia.in/new-delhi/rahul-gandhi-responsible-for-poor-crowd-feel-raj-congress-candidates-1351034.html :hysterical::hysterical:
Sachin=GOD Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 why is he always late nowadays :hmmm: I guess he waits and sees whether there is some crowd in the rally or not :phehehe:

asterix Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 They've ditched the campaigning and left it for local leaders in the last few days. They know the trends are not good and must be preparing for the "loss in these elections are no way a referendum on #Pappu" stance...
someone Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 So Rahul Gandhi, what is his appeal? He doesn't get any new votes, but his traditional voters are moving away from him and his party. Why is Rahul so immune from criticism and questions. Today, when in afternoon, Congress were shown as winning Chhattisgarh, their Congress MP was seen heavily praising Rahul for his greatness, work and skills. Wonder what will he say or where will be hide?
someone Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 The last name is the appeal ... there is no shortage of absolutely gullible people in India who believe that this family is the one that got India independence ' date=' stood up to evil Pakis and Cheeni's and what have you. Some even connect this family to MK Gandhi. Such is the brainwashing and it showed when they won soon after 26/11. Never write this scumbag party out ... they are masters of politics.[/quote'] True. Actually I would call it superstition that in India, there are many who still believe that Congress or just He/She Gandhi will come and solve all their problems. However, thanks to opposition, there are many who are realizing it and understanding Congress hypocrisy.
someone Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Call me cynical but knowing how things work in India the day Congress is eradicated - like the polio virus - is not within our lifetimes ... at best there might be a election or two where they sit in the opposition but no one party will be able to capture absolute majority on its own. Although I have long since completely stopped bothering about the political scene in India. I just simply dont bother. I wish somebody put up a number to the amount of damage and looting enacted by Congress ... I reckon it would be close to the pillage under the British colonial rule. Of course, ruling over 50 years of independence of India, they have build very very strong networks nationally and internationally including various media groups supporting them. It is only because of these networks that Congress or certainly the Gandhi family has remained "protected" or enjoyed immunity till recently. With recent movements led by Modi or even AAP, there are at least some who have begin to introspect and thus question Congress. But as mentioned, there is a "superstition" associated with Congress or "Gandhi" name and thus it will take time to change. So what's interesting now, is especially when people talk about anti-Modi votes, they need to realize that there are anti-Gandhi or anti-Rahul / Sonia votes. This anti-Gandhi votes, that deserves more attention. And back on this state elections, Rahul has promised the reaction will "in ways you cannot even imagine". That exact phrase is scaring me on what exactly is in his mind and dirty tricks Congress department.
someone Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 So pappu is the official PM candidate ? The thing that bothers me about Congress rule is that how even upright people like Manmohan Singh are reduced to doing Ji-Huzoor . Pappu or Sonia is definitely their (unofficial) real PM candidate. For their official PM candidate, we have to wait and watch. Even if they want Rahul to be the official PM candidate, they simply will not make that public, as Rahul simply cannot fight Modi, has already failed against him and the more it becomes a Rahul vs Modi, BJP benefits. And MMS really doesn't sympathy. He is part of the the corrupt government and actually enjoys the power. Power can really change people attitudes, just read about Stanford prison experiment.
gaurav92 Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Pappu is a massive :fail: and will not be a PM candidate for sure.
