He first said that Gandhi faced a nearly impossible task despite 10 years of power. Wonder, what did he think about Modi, who faced the even greatest challenge as everybody and odds were against him, the media lambasted him constantly, harsh questions were raised about him, his caste, his family, and countless false accusations and fear mongering were spread among the public. And then Scindia mentioned that Rahul should be given more chances, but why? He has been in national politics for 10 years and he has failed constantly.

Magar Hindustan Ek Soch Hai What Rahul Gandhi wants to do, is Rahul Gandhi and millions of youngsters in this country want to change the way the system in this country works. What Rahul Gandhi wants to do is empower the women in this country, wants to unleash the power of these women, I mean we talk about being a superpower... The spirit of India has to move forward. Poverty is just a state of mind. It does not mean scarcity of food, money or material things. If one possesses self-confidence then we can overcome poverty. People call us an elephant.. We are not an elephant.. we are a beehive.. it's funny but think about it. Which is more powerful? an elephant or a beehive? It (Congress) is a funny party. We have built structures that are allowing this energy to rise, to explode. I went to University in 1991, and I remember, nobody thought of India. I remember conversations where people would laugh and say, “Do you have elephants on the road?†Nobody is saying that today. Sonia Gandhi had met Bukhari during the elections, asking for his support, which he obligingly announced. But today morning Haq denied making any critical statements, when he spoke to ABP News. His retraction though lost steam when senior leader and party general secretary Digvijay Singh came out in support of his comments. Speaking to the media after Haq’s interview was published Digvijay said that he had ‘never considered Bukhari a secular person.’ Digvijay may not criticise Sonia in a categoric manner, but a criticism of her decision is sure to shake a few trees. Haque, who is a two-time MP from Bihar and All-India Muslim Personal Law Board member, said the meeting should not have happened. It was wrong on part of the Congress party to issue a appeal to one community, he said in an interview to a The Economic Times. Congress president Sonia Gandhi had met Shahi Imam and a delegation of Muslim leaders – on April 2 - and reportedly requested them to ensure that secular votes did not split in the Lok Sabha polls. Later, Bukhari announced his support for the Congress and the Trinamool Congress in West Bengal. In the 80s, former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi had sought similar support from Bukhari's father Syed Abdullah Bukhari, who was a staunch Congress supporter.
