^LOL Only in India will a top 10 bowler get dropped for the next series. Dhoni has totally lost it.
and # 20, #32 bowlers would play ahead of him just because they are offies. :giggle:

Hain? That doesn't make any sense. Why play two off spinners in that case? It's not as if the entire Australian line up is left handed - Watson' date=' Clarke, and Henriques are right handed. That's 3 out of the top 7. Using Dhoni's logic who was he expecting to dismiss them - Sir Jadeja?[/quote'] Well ofcourse, thats the Dhoni logic.Seen a lot of it in ODIs from him ,I think you must have've as well.Yes for those 3 righties he had left arm spinner in Jadeja to go to,who according him is an all rounder. So he thinks he covered all basis with 2 offies and a left armer, who also can bat at No.6. There are lots of instances of Dhoni's favouritism and bias but this certainly isnt. Its a case of a kaptaan having some weird ,idiotic logics about cricket :hatsoff:

I can understand all his logics but suddenly playing BK is what I just cannot really fathom, could easily have played only one seamer out of Ishant, Dinda, or BK as none of them would have made much of a difference and would play Ojha instead.

Having an extra seamer could come in handy when there is reverse swing.

My argument is that if we follow Dhoni's logic then one off spinner in Ashwin, one left arm spinner in Ojha, and one I don't know what in Jadeja would have still satisfied the same requirements of taking the ball away. In fact when you consider the strength of the right hand batsmen in the Australian line up then according to Dhoni's logic Ojha should have been a certainty. Was Harbhajan played to get Cowan, Warner, Hughes, and Wade dismissed because Dhoni thought Ashwin would not be able to get them out? And if Dhoni really thinks Jadeja is capable of picking up top order wickets on a regular basis he is more retarded than I thought.

Well I think he definitely does :giggle:

Of the top 10, only one (other than Ojha, due to Dhoni's insanity) is not a sure-fire lock into their national team and that is Hilfenhaus. Of the top 20, only ones you can say is not an auto-select for their national teams are Stuart Broad and Abdur Rehman (though Rehman's is understandable- a 2nd spinner is almost never going to play enough games overseas as it simply doesnt make sense to field 2 spinners in RSA,ENG,AUS,NZ). Truely shocking from Dhoni. I am prepared to say it is either nepotism or being cluessless in Test cricket and equating ODI value to Test value (where in ODIs, i'd say Jadeja *is* a better spinner than Ojha). Given that it is Dhoni, i am prepared to say its more or less the case of the latter. He has all the attributes of being a great captain except tactical understanding of the game. As such, he does everything that doesnt include tactics very well ( batting, handling himself under the pressure of captaincy, man-management, press management, etc) but his tactical side of the game is severely lacking (which bowlers to use, which team to field, which field setting to use) in the longer version of the game. Don't get me wrong, he is a great limited overs captain but then again, the demands of limited overs captaincy (in the tactical department) are different to that of Test cricket.

Bhajji is the cause. He hasn't done anything to get back in the side and on top of that straightaway into the XI. Jadeja is bowling better than Bhajji. If Ojha was playing' date=' we would have bundled them out for less than 250 surely.[/quote'] Yeah, Bhajji is the cause and not that idiot who selected him, right? :hmmm:

Somebody needs to lose their job for this poor selection This is too much- on what basis you keep out your best bowler and bring in a deadbeat!!

Dhoni fanboys are explaining strategies behind the selection - let's hear them out. :hysterical:
