King Tendulkar Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 Reflexes are just not there. Sachin paji nobody ever won a contest with father time. You'll not either. yep
harmuk Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 Avg came down to 53 from 56. :((And be thankful we have BD, if we exclude BD his average is barely 52, and Lara tops him if one excludes BD. http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/stats/index.html?class=1;filter=advanced;opposition=1;opposition=140;opposition=2;opposition=3;opposition=4;opposition=5;opposition=6;opposition=7;opposition=8;opposition=9;orderby=runs;spanmin1=15+Mar+1989;spanval1=span;template=results;type=batting
King Tendulkar Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 And be thankful we have BD' date=' if we exclude BD his average is barely 52, and Lara tops him if one excludes BD.[/quote'] paki troll alert
Pagalpanti Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 I have a feeling he'll call it quits.. either now or after IPL. Don't think we'll see him in SA.
King Tendulkar Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 retirement waving?? Sort of looked like goodbye waving
putrevus Posted March 24, 2013 Author Posted March 24, 2013 He has totally humiliated himself, he is hurting the team more than he is helping but it looks like he does not give a feck. Sunil Gavaskar walked away with people askiing why and Sachin is doing totally opposite.
King Tendulkar Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 I think he will call it a day. Probably wanted last test match to see if still had it. Clear he doesnt and think he sees that as well. Something about his waving seemed like farewell
asterix Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 I think he will call it a day. Probably wanted last test match to see if still had it. Clear he doesnt and think he sees that as well. Something about his waving seemed like farewell Waving was for the domestic matches...
rkt.india Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 i will be surprised if he retires before SA series.
vvvslaxman Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 He was out atleast three times in the first innings lol only once given.
carnish Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 He will retire when the selectors pick his son. The Legacy must continue. :desiman:
Yoda-esque Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 Waving was for the domestic matches... :hysterical::hysterical:
The Outsider Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 I wish Precambrian would also visit this thread and comment on how Outsider was labeled a hater and has been proved right.
Sidhoni Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 He maybe going for 200 tests. I hope we play against SL() somewhere in 2 match series so he plays his 200th and then he can retire.
vamos_rafa Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 I don't think we should be bothered about his batting average. It's HIS own average and if he wants to risk it, then fine. Having said that, what we should be worried about is till when can he continue like this? This has become an unhealthy pattern now wherein he looks good but just can't play long enough. What we should be bothered about is whether he's holding up a youngster's place or not. And not about his numbers/average or selfishness quotient. He's way above all these miniscule things. Time's most certainly up for him.... :((
King Tendulkar Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 Sachin. You are my hero. But FFS RETIRE! Its OVER!
