King Tendulkar Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 Come on , give him some love:winky: 4-0, getting young players and suddenly hungry. If he gets stick when we lose, the reverse can also be given:giggle:
Crookbond Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 The credit for R Jadeja should actually be given to Fletcher. Source - Dravid
CG Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 Curators deserve more credit than Fletcher. :two_thumbs_up::agree:
Pagalpanti Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 Curators deserve more credit than Fletcher. We had more helpful pitches than Hyd/Mohali in Eng series - Mumbai and Kolkata. Lost both, again stop saying pitches won India the match. India played better cricket.
moniker Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 Credit should go to Sandip Patil and Co for having the guts to drop Sehwag and Gambhir. It were our top order stands that set up most of the games for us.

India played better cricket.[/quote'] Mumbai was the only turning track we got.Kolkatta pitch fiasco is well knwon and last pitch was dead. But this time all have been result oriented and helpful for spinners.Cricket is a game of pitches.Pitches play a major role u cannot deny that.

Hyderabad and Mohali were hardly spinning wickets.
ravishingravi Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 India would have lost 4-0 against money and Swann on these pitches. They had better spinners.
Laaloo Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 India would have lost 4-0 against money and Swann on these pitches. They had better spinners. No it would have been the same result as the one we had against england. 1st test - India would have won 2nd test - England would have destroyed us at mohali 3rd test - Pitch was pretty flat and would have been a draw 4th Test - England would have won
Crookbond Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 India would have lost 4-0 against money and Swann on these pitches. They had better spinners. We have Sir Ravindra Jadeja. :wink2:
CG Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 Hyderabad and Mohali were hardly spinning wickets. They were far better than Nagpur.
1983-2011 Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 Thank you KT!!! Thank God you didn't make a prediction thread at the beginning of the series:elefant:
vvvslaxman Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 It doesn't matter now. They were going to renew his contract regardless of the series result.
Crookbond Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 They were far better than Nagpur. and much worse than Mumbai.
carnish Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 I have said it again and again ... India will do better on pitches which are slow and offer some or lot help to spinners. Mumbai wasn't a slow pitch. In this series, even Mohali wasn't offering much pace. Hence the pitches in this series were better. Never saw the Kolkata or the Nagpur test and hence can't comment on those two.
Yoda-esque Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 KT,Please change your thread title to "Fletcher sucks!"
